I chose my 3 most prized watches not only because they are, IMO, great individually and they fit perfectly into my collection but also because they represent, what I believe, be 3 of the most prestigious watch brands that a "normal human" can have. The way I see it, other options in this reasonable holy trinity approach could be JLC, Omega, and Nomos. With these same watches, I can also mimic those old Mr. Porter videos of having a watch to Work on, another to Rest, and another to Play. What I understand for "Work", is not necessary to use it in an office, it is more in the context of presenting ourselves as best, and, IMO, that Cartier Tank presents me in the best way possible; What I understand for "Rest", is in the context of not having worries about the day, that Grand Seiko is incredibly versatile, discrete and I don't even need to care to set the time; When I said "Play"... Yeah, it is a diver watch you got the point lol
