Watch Description
Originally launched in 1988, the Small Da Vinci Chronograph is the smallest model in the wide range of IWC watches that answers to the fascinating name “Da Vinci”.
This model employs the JLC Calibre 630, a small mecha-quartz movement with date, moon-phase and mechanical chronograph module.
This feminine Da Vinci Chronograph has a stylish case measuring 29mm in diameter and 8.3mm thickness. Fitted with screw-down crown, curved sapphire crystal and snap on case-back, it has a water resistance of 30 meters. The case features jointed lugs with central attachment.
This watch from the IWC Da Vinci series features an accurate quartz movement for people who prefer to forget about winding. As a mechanical chronograph with a quartz controlled stepping motor, including elapsed time recording up to twelve hours, it is suitable for many applications. The two side buttons are provided for ease of operation.
The moon phase display at 12 o’clock brings a little celestial mechanics into play with the time. The date display at 4.30H with its rapid adjustment facility imparts order in the daily routine, and the convex sapphire glass and the screw-in crown ensure security – water resistance to 30 metres.
The first generation of the IWC Small Da Vinci Chronograph (IW3735) was introduced in 1988. In 1996, the second generation (IW3736) was launched. The production of Lady Da Vinci Chronograph discontinued in 2007 with the introduction of the new Da Vinci family with tonneau-shaped cases.
The IWC Small Da Vinci Chronograph is available in stainless steel and 18K yellow gold versions.
