The Capeland name dates back to the 1990s for Baume & Mercier, however, in 2011, the series received a refresh in the shape of rebooted watch designs from their archive looking to achieve a classic, traditional aesthetic. Crucially though, these pieces don't forget what century it is. With reliable movements, solid attention to detail, and cleverly curated features, the series fills a gap that many watchmakers struggle to fill successfully, especially at the Baume & Mercier's market position. Current models include references with cleverly executed touches of color from strap to dial and bold dial details with tons of contemporary personality. It's a versatile range, much like Baume & Mercier themselves.
