Watch Description

The art of collecting military-issued timepieces has never been more interesting or captivating than in today’s day and age. These alluring timepieces have been sought after for as long as collectors have existed, however, due to the availability of archived information we now possess, the community has never been more interconnected or informed. As we collectively continue to discover new information we reinforce our understanding of where, when, and why these incredible timepieces were enlisted.

The long and impressive history of the Cabot Watch & Clock, or CWC, started in the early 1970s when the company took over what was formerly Hamilton's UK manufacturing operation and began to supply the Royal Militaries with wristwatches. The W10 wristwatch was manufactured to the specifications set forth by the British Ministry of Defence for the Royal Army and is a concoction of robust features including, fixed strap bars, a single-piece case, a Navigator-style matte black dial with tritium lume, and the employment of the ETA cal. 2750 manual wind movement. In comparison to other issued wristwatches from the MOD, or any other military for that matter, the price-to-value proposition of the CWC W10 is almost unmatched. Especially when considering the quality, style, and history compared to the relative market evaluation.
