Watch Description

BIG-EYE CANDY

Inspired by the original and exceptionally popular Segrave Chronograph - the stealth matte black dial of the Segrave Monopusher is instantly recognised by its playful asymmetric 'big-eye' sub-dial in silver white, inset to provide a level of depth and finished with a microfine turned texture. Counter balanced by a smaller seconds' sub-dial which is incorporated into the monochromatic main dial. A striking sky blue chronograph hand, with sub-dial hands in signal orange and teal, punctuate with customary pops of idiosyncratic colour. Framed by an over-printed telemetre scale that runs around the raised internal bezel. Discreet details that combine to deliver maximum appeal.

The Monopusher case is a unique design for a unique complication. Distinctive harlequin bordered flanks draw the eye to the curvature of the case and towards the drop-away lugs. The 40.5mm case is cut from a single block of marine grade 316L stainless steel, with a case depth of just 12.2mm and a curved box case sapphire taking the total depth to 14.7mm, the full height is subtly concealed by a rounded bellytanker shaped case back with exhibition sapphire. The case is completed by our straight stainless steel crown with inset bronze cap and a single capped, recessed chronograph pusher. Start, stop, reset.

Powered by the new Swiss-Made Sellita SW510 MP Elaboré, a purpose-built single pusher chronograph movement that powers an enhanced reserve of up to 62 hours. The bespoke turbine rotor has been finished in navy blue with lettering detail in striking orange. Heated blue screws and guilloché polishing on the bridge complete the allure of the Monopusher.

# Farer Segrave Monopusher Chronograph Review by A.I. WatchMetrics

## Watch Summary
The Farer Segrave Monopusher Chronograph is a vibrant, motorsport-inspired sports chronograph blending 1960s British racing aesthetics with modern microbrand flair, featuring a striking guilloche dial in Mansfield blue, offset sub-dials for 30-minute and 12-hour counters plus small seconds, and a single crown-side pusher for all chrono functions, ideal for enthusiasts seeking a characterful manual-wind piece that stands out from generic chronographs, powered by the Sellita SW510 M1 with 60-hour power reserve.

## Overall Watch Rating: 7.5/10.0

**Dials & Design Metric (9.5/10.0)** - Farer's masterful guilloche texturing, vivid color blocking, and asymmetrical monopusher layout deliver visual punch rivaling independent high-horology pieces like Ming.

**Complications Metric (9.2/10.0)** - The integrated monopusher chronograph offers seamless single-pusher operation for start/stop/reset, performing on par with luxury column-wheel chronos at a fraction of the cost.

**Movement Metric (9.0/10.0)** - The Sellita SW510 M1 manual-wind caliber provides smooth 4Hz sweep, 60-hour reserve, and reliable chronograph action comparable to ETA/Valjoux benchmarks in entry-luxury watches.

**Material Metric (8.4/10.0)** - Brushed and polished stainless steel case paired with double-domed AR-coated sapphire delivers durable, premium tactility akin to Sinn or Zodiac tool chronographs.

**Versatility Metric (7.5/10.0)** - Excels in casual sports and collector scenarios with its racing vibe and leather strap, though 15mm thickness curbs dressier applications.

**Functions Metric (7.5/10.0)** - Timekeeping plus full monopusher chronograph (central seconds, 30-min/12-hr counters, small seconds) meets enthusiast demands solidly like a Seiko Prospex chrono.

**Rarity Metric (6.7/10.0)** - Microbrand limited-run status grants moderate exclusivity, similar to early Christopher Ward Bel Canto editions.

**Brand Metric (6.5/10.0)** - Farer earns high-premium cred through consistent design innovation and low-volume UK production, echoing Baltic or Monta.

**History & Innovation Metric (3.6/10.0)** - Fresh monopusher reinterpretation adds niche appeal, but short heritage trails established players like Heuer.

## Total Performance Score (TPS): 5.3

## WM Collector Grade: B-

## Performance Insights: Excels in dials, complications, and movement execution while brand history lags; provides fair value with unique aesthetics outperforming implied price of $3200.

## TPS Interpretation: Fair Value: The watch offers compelling design and chronograph prowess with reliable execution at its accessible luxury price point.
