Watch Description
The Longines model "Split 5" in steel, with the display of analog and digital time ... a model with two time zones, stopwatch, alarm, date.
This Longines Split 5 Quartz Dual Display Alarm Watch, model 192-4948, is such an interesting timepiece! It has a two-tone, checkerboard, black and grey dial with a red frame for both the analog and digital parts of the watch. The analog section has mixed, applied, white, Arabic numerals and baton markers and silvered hands. The digital section has T1/Timer/T2/Chrono/Alarm functions.
It is a slim watch, measuring only 4mm thick, but the rectangular, stainless steel case still manages to house two very different movements for the dual functions of this watch. The crown plays an incredibly important part in this watch's function, too. It has to be in the "pulled out" position for the digital display, and in the "pushed in" position for the analog and battery saving mode.
