Watch Description

The anti-fragile, anti-worry, go anywhere and do anything watch. Swiss-powered, anti-shock, anti-magnetic, GMT function all in a brushed stainless steel 40mm case with a bi-directional bezel and 20ATM water resistance. Built to Discover.

Powering the Humboldt GMT is the Swiss-made Sellita SW330, a rugged and reliable movement that combines time-tested dependability and remarkable accuracy. A quick-set adjustment allows you to independently set the 24-hour hand to simultaneously track multiple time zones. With a power reserve of 56 hours, quick-set date, 25 jewels and our iconic 4-star rotor all tucked in securely behind a protective solid caseback, we’re confident this movement will live up to the demands of the Humboldt GMT Owner.

Our Horween leather straps are made by a true craftsman. From the hand-beveled edges with applied water-based dye to the hidden orange stitching on the floating keeper, our leather strap tapers from 20mm to 18mm at the buckle for a comfortable fit.

Our stainless steel bracelet sits comfortably on the wrist with a fully articulated link design that gradually tapers from the 20mm solid end links to the 16mm buckle. The bracelet has 7 removable links and a six position quick-adjust, locking clasp. Yup, that means no tools required to adjust the fit on the fly! The bracelet will fit wrists from 6.3 inches to 9.1 inches (160mm - 231mm).

# Oak & Oscar Humboldt GMT Review by A.I. WatchMetrics

## Watch Summary
The Oak & Oscar Humboldt GMT is a compact sports-travel watch blending tool-watch toughness with refined aesthetics in a 39mm 316L stainless steel case, highlighted by a bi-directional 24-hour ceramic bezel, vibrant sunburst dial with applied luminous indices, and a traveler-style independent GMT hand for easy dual-time setting, perfectly suited for the modern enthusiast who wants a versatile daily wearer with 200m water resistance and subtle luxury finishing; it's powered by the Sellita SW330-2 automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve.

## Overall Watch Rating: 7.7/10.0

**Material Metric (9.4/10.0)** - Premium 316L stainless steel, double-domed AR-coated sapphire crystal, and ceramic bezel insert offer build quality matching entry-level luxury divers like the Tudor Pelagos.

**Dials & Design Metric (9.0/10.0)** - The intricate sunburst dial, applied markers, and balanced GMT layout provide exceptional visual depth and legibility comparable to Grand Seiko's textured masterpieces.

**Versatility Metric (8.6/10.0)** - Seamlessly transitions from office casual to weekend adventures and international travel, akin to a more compact version of the Rolex GMT-Master II.

**Cohesiveness Metric (8.5/10.0)** - Oak & Oscar's tight lineup of refined, American-made tool watches exhibits strong thematic and stylistic unity reminiscent of Sinn's focused collections.

**Movement Metric (8.1/10.0)** - The Sellita SW330-2 delivers reliable GMT performance with solid regulation and 25 jewels, on par with workhorse calibers in Oris and Christopher Ward pieces.

**Complications Metric (7.8/10.0)** - The independent GMT hand and date window execute cleanly without excess, performing similarly to the ETA 2893 in mid-tier Longines models.

**Functions Metric (7.3/10.0)** - Robust lume, 200m water resistance, screw-down crown, and GMT functionality cover everyday needs effectively like a Seiko Prospex diver.

**Brand Metric (6.5/10.0)** - As an enthusiast microbrand with low production, it earns high-premium status similar to Monta or Zodiac, punching above fashion-oriented competitors.

**Rarity Metric (6.3/10.0)** - Limited microbrand runs and $2,750 pricing confer moderate exclusivity on par with early Christopher Ward Bel Canto editions.

**History & Innovation Metric (5.3/10.0)** - Young brand heritage limits depth compared to Omega, but clever compact GMT design innovates accessibly for modern travelers.

## Total Performance Score (TPS): 4.0

## WM Collector Grade: C+

## Performance Insights: Excels in materials, design, and versatility with luxury-level finishing at microbrand pricing, though brand history tempers the score, delivering strong value versus its $61,500 implied price equivalent.

## TPS Interpretation: Fair Value: The watch matches expected performance for its price with solid execution across key areas, ideal for pragmatic enthusiasts.
