Watch Description
The Seamaster was first introduced in 1948 to celebrate Omega’s 100th Anniversary, it was an immediate success and is Omega’s longest-running model. Based on the waterproof designs used during World War 2, it was improved upon with the addition of an “O” ring gasket which improved its water resistance. Omega’s first diving record came in 1955 when diver Gordon McLean reached a depth of 62.5 metres (205 ft) in Australia. The engineers were so confident of the durability that they strapped one to the outside of an aircraft that flew over the North Pole in 1956.
Here we have a 1964 Omega Seamaster 600 135.011 with a 34mm stainless steel case, the angled lugs have a lug-to-lug length of 40mm and a case thickness of 8.5mm ensuring a comfortable fit on your wrist.

A.I. Watch Review:
# Omega Seamaster 600 1960s Review by A.I. WatchMetrics
## Watch Summary
The Omega Seamaster 600 from the 1960s is an iconic vintage diver's watch with a robust cushion-shaped stainless steel case, bi-directional compressor-style rotating bezel, matte black dial featuring tritium-lumed indices and hands, and a date window at 3 o'clock, powered by the reliable automatic Caliber 752 movement with approximately 48 hours of power reserve; it targets serious vintage collectors and dive watch enthusiasts who appreciate pioneering 600-meter water resistance and military-grade toughness originally supplied to Italian frogmen.
## Overall Watch Rating: 8.2/10.0
**History & Innovation Metric (9.5/10.0)** - This model pushed boundaries with 600m water resistance in the 1960s, delivering historical impact comparable to the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms in pioneering professional dive capabilities.
**Dials & Design Metric (9.4/10.0)** - The distinctive cushion case, sword hands, and tritium patina create a timeless, aggressive dive aesthetic that stands alongside the best vintage Rolex Submariners.
**Brand Metric (8.8/10.0)** - Omega's storied luxury heritage shines through in this military-spec piece, on par with established icons from the Swiss elite.
**Cohesiveness Metric (8.8/10.0)** - Seamlessly embodies Omega's dive legacy in a singular, purposeful design without excess.
**Versatility Metric (8.7/10.0)** - Transitions effortlessly from collector display to rugged casual wear, much like a well-preserved Rolex 5513.
**Movement Metric (8.5/10.0)** - The Caliber 752 offers robust automatic performance with date complication and historical reliability akin to period Lemania-based calibers.
**Material Metric (8.3/10.0)** - Solid stainless steel construction with screw-down elements holds up admirably for its era, though hesalite crystal trails modern sapphire benchmarks.
**Rarity Metric (7.8/10.0)** - Limited 1960s production and strong collector demand place it in the same league as scarce military Omegas on the secondary market.
**Functions Metric (6.2/10.0)** - Core timekeeping with date and dive bezel provides solid utility, matching entry-level modern divers like the Seiko 62MAS reissue.
**Complications Metric (4.1/10.0)** - Basic date adds minimal complexity, typical for straightforward tool watches of the period.
## Total Performance Score (TPS): 9.9
## WM Collector Grade: A+
## Performance Insights: Excels in history, design, and brand prestige with strong versatility and movement quality, while basic complications are offset by exceptional value well above expectations for its secondary market pricing around $8,500.
## TPS Interpretation: Exceptional Value: The watch vastly overdelivers on iconic heritage, durability, and collector appeal relative to its price point.
