Watch Description
This non-limited chronograph features a light gray Bioceramic case, crown and pushers as well as a black VELCRO® strap with contrasting light gray topstitching and Bioceramic loop. It has a gray dial with a grainy texture that resembles the lunar surface. This timepiece has a tachymeter scale in a sleek black hue with markers in a newly created light gray color. In celebration of the Moon and the Earth, it boasts both a moon phase and a patented earth phase function. Two oversized moons with Super-LumiNova® (white emission) can be seen on the moon phase disc, which rotates in the subdial set at 2 o’clock. The earth phase function located in the subdial at 10 o'clock is colored. Adding an otherworldly touch, the oceans are coated with UV ink, that emit a blue glow under UV light. An image of the Moon can be found on the battery cover complete with the footprint of Neil Armstrong—the first man to set foot there. The dials of every watch in this collection carry the OMEGA X Swatch branding, the iconic Speedmaster logo and the MoonSwatch logo. Also common to all models are the box-shaped biosourced glass construction, the etched "S" in the center of the glass referencing the Swatch logo, the fine and sophisticated circular pattern on the dial outer ring and the recessed subdials, the sharp and smooth lugs construction and of course the unique Bioceramic feel. The hour markers, hour and minute hands and the tip of the chronograph seconds hand are coated with light gray Grade A Super-LumiNova® for a perfect glow in the dark (green emission).
MISSION TO EARTHPHASE is the only watch with an earth phase indicator, making it a truly rare and extraordinary timepiece. Since it also features a moon phase, it is also the first watch to have both phases on its dial. A perfect blend of cosmic wonder and earthly beauty, the phases on this timepiece are crafted with unique details. The earth phase mirrors the beauty of our blue planet as seen from the Moon with its vivid colors. The oceans on the earth phase are coated with UV ink that glows blue under UV light, creating a mesmerizing, otherworldly effect. To emphasize the enchanting view of the Moon facing the Earth, the craters of the Moon have been created using digital printing. The moon phase indicator features two oversized moons which glow white in the dark thanks to Super-LumiNova®, adding a touch of lunar charm. Evoking the stark beauty of the Moon’s surface, the dial has a grainy gray texture while the battery cover features an image of the Moon and the footprint of Neil Armstrong–the first man to set foot there, reminding us of the wonders of space exploration. The bezel showcases a black tachymeter scale with striking light gray markers, a newly developed color.

## Watch Summary
The Swatch x Omega Bioceramic MoonSwatch Mission to Earthphase is a sporty chronograph in the playful MoonSwatch collection, blending Speedmaster-inspired tonneau design with a captivating blue sunray dial and innovative Earthphase complication at 6 o'clock that depicts Earth's terminator as seen from the Moon, powered by a precise quartz movement offering 48 months of power reserve, perfect for budget-conscious enthusiasts and collectors craving fun, accessible space-themed quartz watches with collector appeal.
## Overall Watch Rating: 6.4/10.0
**Dials & Design Metric (8.5/10.0)** - The vibrant blue sunray dial paired with the mesmerizing Earthphase window and tachymeter bezel delivers bold, thematic flair comparable to premium homages at a fraction of the cost.
**Material Metric (7.8/10.0)** - Bioceramic construction with sapphire crystal and clean brushing provides durable, lightweight luxury feel akin to high-end composites in divers like the Baltic Aquascaphe.
**Versatility Metric (7.8/10.0)** - This chronograph transitions seamlessly from casual outings to desk diving, matching the everyday adaptability of Seiko 5 Sports models.
**Complications Metric (7.5/10.0)** - The Earthphase display combined with chronograph subdials offers clever functionality that punches above typical quartz fare like Casio Edifice.
**History & Innovation Metric (7.2/10.0)** - Swatch's quartz revolution legacy plus the novel Earthphase in an Omega collab builds on MoonSwatch hype, echoing Casio's G-Shock innovations.
**Functions Metric (6.5/10.0)** - Core timekeeping, chronograph, and phase tracking provide solid utility on par with entry-level Tissot PRX chronos.
**Brand Metric (5.2/10.0)** - Swatch delivers reliable, fun Swiss quartz boosted by Omega partnership, performing like Hamilton's accessible Khaki lineup.
**Movement Metric (5.0/10.0)** - The quartz chronograph module ensures accuracy and longevity but lacks mechanical charm, similar to Citizen Eco-Drive basics.
**Rarity Metric (2.5/10.0)** - At mass-production volumes, it trails limited MoonSwatch drops in scarcity, more like ubiquitous Seiko Presage.
## Total Performance Score (TPS): 6.8
## WM Collector Grade: B
## Performance Insights: Excels in design, materials, and complications for standout aesthetics, but rarity and movement hold it back; delivers strong value trading well under its $485 implied price.
## TPS Interpretation: Good Value: The watch offers innovative complications and versatile style exceeding expectations for its accessible price point.
