In the making three years, a process that started with a fateful meeting at Brimfield with fellow junker and watch developer Ali Napolitano. We became buds trading war stories from our junkin’ exploits and a couple weeks later she hit me up about working with TIMEX. And today, we offer up our collaboration. Thank you, Ali!
I used to make watches for Nixon when I worked at Cinco and missed the nicks and ticks and dial scrutiny. The tiny spaces, the precision…the functionality. We got to tap back into that buzz designing this watch face using our DDC Hardware typeface. If you dig the face, wait until you see the caseback! Shit, the box alone is something to marvel at.
These watches are $89.99, plus shipping and handling. We’re proud about that. Not $300 or $849 or whatever all-too-unattainable price we come across too often. You know what we like about TIMEX?
