Collector Description

Only been wearing watches for a couple years now, obviously did the classic bought too many watches too quickly, but after some selling I've settled on the pictured three.

My modest (aka. lower/middle-end) three watch collection:

The Citizen BN0166-01L was the watch I bought to wear at the beach. I love the blues and greens, and really love how the colours shift at different angles. Partnered this one with a Long Island Jubilee bracelet, really love how the look of the jubilee really matches the ridges/bumps around the edge of the case.

The Bulova 98K112 I bought because of it's ties to space, and I loved the panda/snoopy look. Also love that it came with a quick release metal bracelet, so swapping to the included blue leather strap isn't a massive pain in the ass, only takes about 30 seconds. Don't hate me, but I only use the chrono features to occasionally time how long I've had the tea bag in.

The green Tissot PRX 40 I received yesterday for my birthday, love the simplicity of the watch compared to the busier faces of the other two, feel like that really rounds out the collection. Love the starburst green, and love the vintage look and feel. Also bought a brown leather band that I can quick swap like the Bulova.

They're famoust last words, but I think I'm settled for a while. Starting to think about finding a birth year watch (1994) for my 30th birthday next year to fill that fourth slot in the case.

The Citizen Promaster Diver offers exceptional water resistance, making it ideal for diving enthusiasts. The Bulova Lunar Pilot adds historical depth with its connection to the Apollo missions, appealing to collectors interested in space exploration. The Tissot PRX Quartz provides a modern, stylish option with reliable quartz accuracy. ### Ideas for Improvement 1. **Add a Dress Watch**: Introduce a formal watch to enhance versatility. Consider the **Seiko Presage Cocktail Time** for its elegant design and reasonable price. 2. **Incorporate a Mechanical Movement**: Add a watch with a more complex mechanical movement to increase the Movement Metric. The **Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical** offers a manual-wind movement with a classic design. 3. **Expand Material Variety**: Introduce a watch with unique materials, such as titanium or ceramic, to improve the Material Metric. The **Rado Captain Cook** in ceramic would be a fitting choice. ### Downsizing Advice Consider removing the Tissot PRX Quartz if downsizing is necessary. While it offers a modern design, it overlaps with the other watches in terms of casual wear and does not significantly enhance the collection's overall rating. ## Watch by Watch Summary 1. **Citizen Promaster Diver (7.9) - Price Estimate: $300** - Brand (8.0), History & Innovation (7.5), Rarity (6.0), Material (7.0), Dials & Design (6.5), Movement (6.5), Complications (5.0), Functions (9.0), Versatility (7.5) - A robust dive watch with excellent water resistance and durability, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. 2. **Bulova Lunar Pilot (8.0) - Price Estimate: $895** - Brand (8.0), History & Innovation (9.0), Rarity (7.0), Material (7.0), Dials & Design (7.0), Movement (6.5), Complications (6.0), Functions (8.0), Versatility (7.0) - Known for its historical connection to the Apollo missions, this watch features a chronograph and a classic design. 3. **Tissot PRX Quartz (7.5) - Price Estimate: $395** - Brand (8.0), History & Innovation (7.0), Rarity (5.0), Material (7.0), Dials & Design (7.0), Movement (6.5), Complications (5.0), Functions (7.0), Versatility (7.5) - A sleek, modern watch with quartz accuracy, suitable for casual and everyday wear.
