Collector Description

It took a while to arrive, but arrive it did. Some of the nicest packaging I've had as well.

This new Perception V2 absolutely blows it out of the water. Dial is something else, finish work is excellent and it's super comfortable on the wrist.

I have tried the rubber strap as well and that is also a thing of beauty.

Anyway, some photos and a family photo with my other integrated bracelet watches.

A.I. Collection Review:
# 3 Watch Collection - Frederique Constant (33%) / Atelier Wen (33%) / Tissot (33%) Review by A.I. WatchMetrics ## Collection Summary This eclectic trio unites modern integrated bracelet automatics spanning budget-friendly flash to microbrand artistry and entry-luxury polish, offering versatile daily sports watches with standout dials and reliable power reserves from 38 to 80 hours, ideal for the pragmatic collector prioritizing design diversity over unified high-end prestige. **"Integrated Eclectic Spectrum"** ## Overall Collection Rating: 6.7/10.0 **Dials & Design Metric (8.5/10.0)** - Exceptional guilloche artistry on the Wen, iconic textured PRX, and refined Highlife dial rival Grand Seiko subtlety at a fraction of the cost. **Material Metric (8.3/10.0)** - Premium sapphire crystals, brushed steel cases with PVD flair, and Wen's hand-finished accents deliver depth comparable to Oris divers, bolstered by finishing breadth. **Versatility Metric (8.0/10.0)** - All three excel as casual sports pieces transitioning office-to-weekend effortlessly, matching the adaptability of a Tudor Black Bay without the uniformity penalty. **Movement Metric (7.0/10.0)** - Powermatic 80's 80-hour reserve shines alongside decorated Sellita and Miyota, offering mid-tier performance like a Hamilton Khaki Auto but with collection diversity bonus. **Brand Metric (6.2/10.0)** - Tissot's reliability anchors Frederique Constant's accessible luxury and Wen's enthusiast appeal, akin to a Seiko-Citizen mix elevated by microbrand cachet. **History & Innovation Metric (6.5/10.0)** - Wen's pioneering Chinese guilloche and PRX revival add fresh innovation to FC's solid heritage, landing between Tissot's legacy and niche disruptors. **Cohesiveness Metric (6.8/10.0)** - Integrated bracelets and sporty ethos unify the set thematically like a budget Christopher Ward lineup, tempered slightly by price-tier jumps. **Functions Metric (6.2/10.0)** - Core time-plus-date across the board provides everyday utility on par with median Seiko 5s, without venturing into complications. **Rarity Metric (5.0/10.0)** - Wen's low production elevates the average above mass-market Tissot, comparable to a typical microbrand-heavy personal rotation. **Complications Metric (4.0/10.0)** - Strictly basic with no standout features, aligning with entry-level automatics like Citizen Promasters rather than complication-driven sets. ## Total Performance Score (TPS): 4.1 ## TPS Interpretation: Fair Value: The collection offers reliable sports versatility and design flair at its mid-range price, punching average with strong aesthetics offsetting simpler functions. ## WM Collector Grade: C+ ## Performance Insights: Standout dials, materials, and versatility drive appeal for daily rotation, providing solid value against a $1,800 implied price despite basic complications and moderate brand prestige. ## Collection Type by Style - Sports/Casual (67%): Frederique Constant Highlife and Tissot PRX dominate with sporty integrated vibes for everyday wear. - Artistic/Collector (33%): Atelier Wen Perception adds unique guilloche elegance. ## Collection Type by Movement - Automatic (100%): Sellita-based FC-303 (38h reserve), modified Miyota 9015 (42h reserve), and Powermatic 80 (80h reserve) provide solid in-house flavored reliability. ## Collection Strengths - Diverse price-to-performance spectrum delivers luxury looks from $500 without sacrificing quality. - High dial and material execution creates visual wow-factor exceeding typical mid-tier collections. - Strong versatility suits modern lifestyles with long power reserves for low-maintenance wear. ## Ideas for Improvement 1. Introduce a dedicated GMT or chronograph to boost functional depth and excitement. 2. Align color schemes (e.g., more shared gold tones) for tighter visual cohesion. 3. Add a heritage luxury piece like an Omega to elevate overall prestige without redundancy. ## Downsizing Advice Prioritize keeping the Atelier Wen Perception V2 for its irreplaceable artistry and rarity; sell the Tissot PRX if cash needed as its style is most replicable affordably, retaining the Frederique Constant Highlife for balanced luxury-sport utility. ## Watch by Watch Summary - **Frederique Constant Highlife Automatic**: Refined integrated sports watch with 100m resistance and 38-hour automatic delivers entry-luxury poise for daily professionalism. - **Atelier Wen Perception V2**: Masterful hand-guilloche dial reimagines time perception in a compact 39mm package, the collection's unique artistic standout. - **Tissot PRX 40mm Gold PVD**: Budget icon with 80-hour reserve and flashy gold PVD nails '80s-inspired sport at unbeatable value. **A.I.
