3 - IWC / Depancel / Tudor - 202406242236
Collector Description

This is my current 3 watch rotation. Can you tell I have a thing for Chronos....The Microbrand Depancel is new, and I just love the blue and orange color, so it has that new car smell and has been dominating my 3 watch rotation. LOL The IWC has always been my favorite and always finds a place in any rotation. And the Tudor, has been growing on me, when I got it, I was so-so and was thinking I should have got the white dial chrono. Not anymore, that black has won me over and is a current favorite.

Buy what you like and pay no attention to what you think others will say. There is a style in every budget that suits everyone!

The IWC Portugieser Chronograph stands out for its elegant design and historical significance, while the Tudor Black Bay Chrono adds a robust, sporty element. The Depancel Allure Manual Chronograph provides a unique charm with its manual movement and contemporary design. ### Ideas for Improvement 1. **Expand Material Variety**: Introduce a watch with a unique material, such as titanium or ceramic, to enhance the collection's material diversity. Example: Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional (Price: ~$6,000). 2. **Add a Dress Chronograph**: Incorporate a dressier chronograph to increase versatility for formal occasions. Example: Longines Master Collection Chronograph (Price: ~$3,000). 3. **Include a Vintage-Inspired Piece**: Add a vintage-inspired chronograph to enrich the collection's historical appeal. Example: Hamilton Intra-Matic Chronograph (Price: ~$2,000). ### Downsizing Advice Consider removing the Depancel Allure Manual Chronograph if downsizing is necessary. While it offers a unique manual movement, it overlaps with the chronograph focus and lacks the brand prestige of the IWC and Tudor pieces. ## Watch by Watch Summary 1. **IWC Portugieser Chronograph (8.5) - Price Estimate: $4,500** - Brand (8.5), History & Innovation (8.5), Rarity (7.0), Material (8.0), Dials & Design (8.5), Movement (8.5), Complications (8.0), Functions (8.5), Versatility (7.5) - A classic chronograph with a rich history, featuring a refined design and automatic movement. 2. **Tudor Black Bay Chrono (8.3) - Price Estimate: $4,941** - Brand (8.0), History & Innovation (8.0), Rarity (7.0), Material (7.5), Dials & Design (7.5), Movement (8.0), Complications (8.0), Functions (8.5), Versatility (7.5) - A robust, sporty chronograph with heritage-inspired design and strong functionality. 3. **Depancel Allure Manual Chronograph (7.5) - Price Estimate: $650** - Brand (6.0), History & Innovation (6.5), Rarity (7.5), Material (7.0), Dials & Design (7.0), Movement (7.5), Complications (7.5), Functions (7.0), Versatility (6.5) - An accessible manual chronograph with a contemporary design, appealing to enthusiasts of mechanical watches.
