Collector Description

Hi, looking for feedback on my Watch Frame please because I think it looks brilliant. But this could be bias as I made it myself in my shed. It took a few attempts but I’m really happy with the end result.

Back story - in July, I took delivery of my Baltic MR01 and I love that Watch so much that I didn’t want to store it in a Watch box. I loved seeing it laid flat on a black canvas and had the idea to store it a little differently. Fast forward a couple days and I had the raw materials to give this a go.

Really interest to hear people opinions, I love it but just wanted to know if others feel the same.

A.I. Collection Review:
# 4 Watch Collection - Orient (25%) / Baltic (25%) / Tudor (25%) / Omega (25%) Review by A.I. WatchMetrics ## Collection Summary This eclectic four-watch lineup spans from budget-friendly Japanese solar sports with a fun panda dial to a microbrand manual-wind salmon dress piece, a compact luxury dive icon, and a refined automatic steel dress watch on bracelet, offering vintage-inspired color pops and versatile daily wear for the enthusiast collector who values diversity over strict theming. **"Vintage Dial Eclectic Quartet"** ## Overall Collection Rating: 6.2/10.0 **Dials & Design Metric (8.3/10.0)** - The vibrant panda and salmon dials paired with the BB58's gilt accents and Constellation's textured elegance deliver standout visual intrigue well above standard Hamilton or Citizen collections. **Versatility Metric (8.1/10.0)** - Covering sporty dives, casual vintage, and formal occasions seamlessly, this set rivals the everyday flexibility of a curated Oris or Christopher Ward lineup. **Movement Metric (7.7/10.0)** - A smart mix of reliable solar quartz, smooth manual wind, and high-end in-house/metabolism automatics provides solid performance depth comparable to a balanced Seiko Prospex assortment. **Brand Metric (6.9/10.0)** - Blending mid-tier reliability, microbrand appeal, and entry-to-full luxury prestige averages out stronger than a typical Tissot-dominated collection. **History & Innovation Metric (6.8/10.0)** - Omega and Tudor's storied legacies with Co-Axial and in-house advancements offset newer micro vibes, landing solidly like a mixed Longines heritage set. **Material Metric (6.4/10.0)** - Mostly stainless steel with sapphire crystals across the board is competent but held back by one mineral glass and material repetition, akin to average Tudor field watch groups. **Functions Metric (5.4/10.0)** - Basic time-and-date with dive-ready water resistance hits everyday needs adequately, matching entry-level Citizen divers. **Rarity Metric (5.1/10.0)** - Mid-tier pricing and production volumes with one microbrand outlier offer moderate exclusivity on par with common secondary-market Hamiltons. **Cohesiveness Metric (4.6/10.0)** - Loose thematic ties via vintage dials and steel cases provide some unity but diverse styles dilute focus compared to tight diver or dress-only stacks. **Complications Metric (2.9/10.0)** - Strictly basic functions without chronos or GMTs keeps it simple, typical of no-frills tool watch groupings. ## Total Performance Score (TPS): 4.2 ## TPS Interpretation: Fair Value: Strong aesthetics and broad usability outperform price expectations, though basic complications and loose cohesion temper the bang-for-buck. ## WM Collector Grade: C ## Performance Insights: Excels in dials, versatility, and movement variety for excellent rotation options, but cohesion and complications lag; offers solid value versus an implied $1,300 price point. ## Collection Type by Style - Sports/Tool (50%): Orient Neo 70s Solar Panda, Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight - Dress/Formal (50%): Baltic MR01 Salmon, Omega Constellation Co-axial 38mm ## Collection Type by Movement - Automatic (50%): Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight, Omega Constellation Co-axial 38mm - Manual Wind (25%): Baltic MR01 Salmon - Solar Quartz (25%): Orient Neo 70s Solar Panda ## Collection Strengths - Striking dial diversity with panda and salmon hues for collector appeal. - Excellent cross-occasion versatility from dives to dress. - Balanced movement progression from quartz to luxury automatics. ## Ideas for Improvement 1. Tighten theme around vintage divers to boost cohesion. 2. Add a GMT or chronograph for functional depth. 3. Incorporate titanium or gold accents for material variety. ## Downsizing Advice Prioritize the Tudor and Omega for luxury punch and daily rotation, potentially dropping the Orient to streamline toward higher-end cohesion without losing sporty essence. ## Watch by Watch Summary - **Orient Neo 70s Solar Panda**: Budget solar gem with 200m WR, panda dial, and vintage cushion vibe for casual tool duties. - **Baltic MR01 Salmon**: Microbrand standout with manual Miyota, salmon dial, and slim 38mm profile for refined dress wear. - **Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight**: Compact 39mm dive legend with 70-hour in-house auto and iconic gilt dial for versatile adventure. - **Omega Constellation Co-axial 38mm Steel on Steel**: Polished automatic with Co-Axial escapement, integrated bracelet, and 100m WR for upscale formal flex. **A.I.
