Collector Description

Hello all! I have a self imposed 5 watch policy and looking to replaced the bronze diver! Any suggestions are appreciated! Must be under 40mm, preferably colored dial, not dressy, budget 500 - about 7k$.

Vintage Omega waffle dial: Felt I was missing a vintage watch and I decided on this Omega. I like the textured dial with the applied gold indices but I don't wear it that often mostly because it's manual wind.

Helson Shark Diver Bronze 38: I wanted something with a different metall and decided on this diver as I got curious about bronze. Solid watch but I have to admit I've grown a little tired of the gold tone. Looking to replace it eventually and I would appreciate some inspiration or ideas!

CW The Twelve 36: My newest aquisition! Got an itch for a stainless steel integrated bracelet watch and this one ticked all the boxes. Excellent quality and I love it!

Glycine Airman 39 GMT: My most worn watch, it's been with me all over Europe, to Australia and Africa. Still keeps time exceptionally well (+3 sec per day), perfect size. Never getting rid of this one!

Seiko SKX013: Got this one to fill the diver roll, not alot needs to be said about this one, iconic SKX design but the perfect size (for me).

WatchMetrics ## Collection Summary This eclectic collection blends luxury heritage with accessible tool watches, emphasizing rugged divers, a pioneering GMT pilot, and a classic chronograph for an adventurous collector who values functionality, lume performance, and automatic movements with power reserves ranging from 38 to 68 hours. **"Diverse Tool Watch Arsenal"** ## Overall Collection Rating: 6.3/10.0 **Versatility Metric (7.8/10.0)** - Spanning divers, pilot GMT, and chronograph, this set transitions seamlessly from ocean dives to cockpit duties like a well-rounded Tudor Black Bay lineup. **Dials & Design Metric (7.4/10.0)** - Striking blue dials and bezel pops deliver bold, legible aesthetics comparable to a Sinn tool watch ensemble. **Material Metric (7.2/10.0)** - Titanium, brass, and sapphire dominate with unique case variety and solid finishing, exceeding a standard Hamilton field watch build. **Cohesiveness Metric (7.2/10.0)** - Thematic unity around adventure tools overcomes brand diversity, forming a tighter ensemble than many mismatched microbrand stacks. **Functions Metric (6.5/10.0)** - Core timekeeping plus GMT and chronograph add practical utility on par with a mid-tier Oris diver collection. **Brand Metric (6.1/10.0)** - Omega's luxury anchors reliable mid-tier and microbrand companions, mirroring a Seiko-led enthusiast quiver. **History & Innovation Metric (5.9/10.0)** - Iconic Speedmaster and Airman heritage lifts modern divers to a level akin to a Glycine combat lineup. **Movement Metric (5.2/10.0)** - Dependable automatics like Sellita and Miyota provide average reliability, matching a Tissot Seastar stable. **Rarity Metric (4.8/10.0)** - Market prices from $322 to $2700 offer decent spread, but high production volumes keep it from Citizen Promaster exclusivity. **Complications Metric (4.4/10.0)** - Chronograph and GMT add modest complexity similar to entry-level TAG Heuer formulas. ## Total Performance Score (TPS): 4.0 ## TPS Interpretation: Fair Value: The collection delivers strong versatility and materials that slightly outperform expectations for its mid-range pricing. ## WM Collector Grade: C ## Performance Insights: Versatility and design shine brightest while movement uniformity lags, yielding solid adventure utility well-aligned with the implied ~$1,200 average price per watch. ## Collection Type by Style - StyleAdventure (5/5) - StyleSports (5/5) - StyleTool (4/5) - StyleTravel (1/5) - StyleCollector (3/5) ## Collection Type by Movement - Automatic Mechanical (5/5) ## Collection Strengths - Broad functional coverage for diving, travel, and timing adventures. - Excellent material diversity including titanium and brass for standout appeal. - Impressive value density from heritage pieces to microbrand gems. ## Ideas for Improvement 1. Balance diver dominance with another pilot or field watch. ## Downsizing Advice Prioritize the Omega Speedmaster for iconic prestige and Glycine Airman for GMT utility as keepers; retain the unique Helson brass diver for character, while considering selling the Christopher Ward and Seiko to streamline to a punchy trio without losing tool essence—netting ~$2,500 cash for upgrades. ## Watch by Watch Summary - **Omega Speedmaster Date Chronograph**: Legendary chronograph lineage in a versatile 39mm package excels for motorsport timing. - **Christopher Ward The Twelve (Ti) Astral Blue**: Robust 42mm titanium diver boasts 600m resistance and vivid dial for deep-sea prowess. - **Glycine Airman 18 Purist**: Heritage GMT pilot delivers true traveler functionality in a clean, no-frills design. - **Helson Shark Diver 38 Brass**: Compact 38mm brass beast offers vintage diver vibes with bold corrosion patina potential. - **Seiko SKX013 Diver**: Reliable 38mm cult-classic diver provides unbeatable entry-level toughness and aftermarket custom potential. **A.I.
