Collector Description:

[SOTC] I love my little collection but I can’t help but feel some days that something is missing

I in no way want to diminish what I’ve already collected, but when I look at it as a whole, there are some days I just feel like I don’t have the right watch for the occasion.

The Vaer is exclusively my work watch, as I’m pretty rough on watches at work.

The Pelagos FXD, despite being the most expensive piece in the collection, was a bit of an impulse buy. I popped to an AD at a mall while shopping for other stuff, it caught my eye and once I tried it on I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Its what I wear most outside of work. It works for that, being titanium and with the straps it came with, but sometimes it feels out of place.

The Maen mostly serves as my dress watch, which it accomplishes admirably at its case diameter and thickness. Unobtrusive, but striking.

The BCPD is probably my least worn. It just feels the least versatile. It’s technically a field watch, but I could never wear it like that. It’s not super dressy, either. And I reach for the Pelagos more than I reach for it. I ordered a bracelet for it, hoping that changes my view of it.

All that being said, when I window shop I really have a hard time finding anything that stands out as that quintessential “hole-filler.”

Collector Description:

Here is my collection (before you say it, I only have 4 watch slots as I’m always wearing one so no need for 5! Haha)

I’m after recommendations for my collection as I feel like I’m missing something. Let me provide some background to the collection:

Tudor Black Bay Pro - My first luxury watch purchase, have kind of fallen out of love with it. But, it’s my daily & my everywhere watch especially overseas due to the GMT function. Have considered getting a rubberized strap for it.

Rolex Air King - Vintage from 1999, 34mm. Sits fairly small on the wrist, but I only have 7/7.5inch wrists so it’s not horrendous. Again, daily wearer. Only issue is that due to the age, I wouldn’t submerge it. Possibly also on the chopping block to go.

Rolex Submariner - This is pretty much unworn, owned since 2019. Last year before the new release so picture this as more of an investment, I guess.

Omega Moonswatch - Purchased in Singapore w/ my Dad during a visit for the F1. Has sentimental value, won’t sell. Also upgraded strap.

Cartier Santos - I love this watch, never wear it on the leather. Only the metal. I scratched it the day I bought it against a wall, which adds to the story & charm (or so I keep telling myself). Won’t ever sell, very versatile, can be dressy or sporty.

I’m on the waitlist for a Datejust 36mm White Dial on a Jubilee plus a Black on Black Daytona / but still considering other options? I don’t like spending tons, after some reasonable recommendations.

Collector Description:

Blue Moon as new daily - I bought it for story and design. If you look only build quality it looks maybe childish and a bit overpriced ( I paid it 300e and 100e for man to wait in queue for it) but if you just want to enjoy fresh new timepiece it's magical
