Two different timekeepers for different occasions. The Tri-Compax normally goes with me to the office, and the Mille Miglia is for more casual situations, I love them both, and enjoy that these are less common to see.

Collector Description:
I got my first watch in 2008 (the Datejust pictured), and have been hooked ever since. I started out mostly focused on Rolex and Patek, but have really fallen in love with Cartier recently. The RM 65-01 is my latest purchase, and I have been absolutely hooked. I have always loved skeletonized watches and have had a deep appreciation for Richard Mille for years. I was finally able to pull the trigger on my dream model a month ago. One of my more interesting pieces is the Leica ZM 1. Not everyone knows about it, but some photography enthusiasts will get a kick out of it. Anyhow, if you have interest in posts about any specific watch just let me know. I will be happy to take more pictures and make posts in the coming days. All of my pieces were bought at retail from boutiques and AD’s, so I am happy to give advice about that as well.

Fairly new to watches and wanted to see how I started off. Was pretty happy finding the Citizen (ref 21-2521) for $40. I do think I overpaid for the Seiko Alba Vient ($100) but I do love the watch. Would appreciate any input or tips on what to look for. I’m really interested in collecting only vintage Japanese movement.

Hi watch nerds. This is my first post on reddit. So please go easy on me. I’ve been aiming for a simple 3 watch collection since last year after i bought my first expensive watch which was the speedtimer. After that i had to buy a diver so i bought what i think is the was the skx replacement in my opinion. The SNE Solar diver. Bought the Alpinist last week because i needed something dressy and a bit of colour. It’s been a fun journey. I have spent countless hours watching and reading about watches. I think im good for now and wont be obsessing over watches for a while. I had to save and do a lot of overtime to buy these 3 watches.

Collector Description:
My Trip - Would this be considered an unbalanced collection? I think this needs a Sub or some kind of dive watch to round it out a bit—not that it’s necessary of course but it would be nice to have something for different occasions.
The Nomos used to be the daily driver but that role’s been taken over by the new Speedy. The Portugieser doesn’t get as much wrist time as I rarely wear suits nowadays.
