Collector Description:
This is my collection representing smaller wrist gang. I've been collecting for about 7 years, slowly working my way up to nicer pieces.
From left to right:
-Archimede Outdoor Protect - German tool watch with 38mm case and hardened steel case/bracelet. My go anywhere watch.
-Formex Essence 39 - my newest piece. Fits very nicely on the wrist with a built in extra half link micro adjust. The white dial really catches the eye
-Nomos Club Neomatik Atlantic - one of my favorite daily wearers. 37mm case with a beautiful display back.
-Universal Geneve Polerouter date - beautiful vintage piece from the early 1960s designed by the legendary Gerald Genta. Only a 34mm case but has a much larger presence on the wrist
-Nomos Ludwig 35mm - My go to dress watch. Very thin watch which is perfect under the cuff

Collector Description:
[SOTC] After a few years. What should I add to my collection?
Hamilton Khaki Field Auto (38 mm). My first automatic watch.
Tissot Chemin des Tourelles (39 mm). Switched out the brown leather strap with butterfly clasp for a Holben's Hirsch Kent black leather strap.
Marathon GSAR (US Gov). Love the feeling of heft whenever I wear this one.
Seiko Prospex Land ("Baby Alpinist", SPB155). I constantly catch myself just staring at the dial throughout the day. I know many shit on Seiko bracelets, but this one feels solid and is comfortable. No complaints.
Junghans Max Bill Chronoscope. Love the minimalist design. My dress watch, and one I frequently get compliments on.
Not pictured are my Casio F-91W (beater) and my Apple Watch SE (which I wear when working out).
Looking to add something else, such as a traveler's/true GMT, or anything that's very different from what I have already. My budget is around $1000, but I'm willing to go beyond that if I find something I really like.
All suggestions welcome!

One year in to this crazy new obsession. I’ve always loved watches and had some beaters as a kid, but had been wearing an Apple Watch for a few years before I went down the watch world rabbit hole while recovering from a surgery.
Got the BB Pro for a daily beater and travel watch, and just fell in love with the Zenith while browsing on a trip to Vegas. Next up, I’m looking for a birth year vintage Omega and for my 50th I’m leaning towards a JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon. I’d like to think I’ll stop with those four, but there are so many watches I’d love to own!

The Opaline Tudor was purchased over the summer as a celebratory piece, the BB 39 the end of the year around the holidays to satisfy my desire for a jubilee and when I made that purchase I put my name down for a No-Date Sub expecting possibly a year or more to pass before hearing back. Wound up getting “The Call” for a Bluesy from that AD on Thursday and I think you can stick a fork in me, ☠️ I’m done for a while!
While I’ve always aspired to have a “grown up watch” when I was younger, the fact that I have been able to curate this collection of higher end pieces is astounding.
