Collector Description:
Was able to grab a few pieces to commemorate some big milestones for myself since I've been into watches.
Bamford x Goodwoof Detective Snoopy: Got this to commemorate a position in a new field for me that that's heavy into research and a little detective work so it seemed fitting.
Bell & Ross BR03-92 : Switched from Army Guard to Air Guard and finally got a promotion that has been a lot of hard work and struggle to get to. Thought the dial fit my new specialty and the airplanes fit the Air Force vibe.
2005 Omega Seamaster Professional (2253.80) - A mentor of mine offered it to me for a steal of a price after a big operation I got to lead. He knew I was a big watch nerd too so that helped.
1993 Omega Speedmaster Deluxe (3592.50) - The watch that got me into watches, got it to celebrate my upcoming marriage. Figured it fitting to have on the big day.
What's everyone else's big momento/milestone watches? I'd love to hear everyone's stories behind the collecting and some cool timepieces!

Collector Description:
I wanted to share my 4 watch collection after recently purchasing the Seiko Dolce 6020-5930 as my dress watch. I’ve always liked the idea of having a smaller collection and I think, after many watches entering and leaving the collection, I’ve finally reached a small collection I’m happy with. I’ve been trying to be strict about my “one-in-one out” policy for my collection (which is so difficult 😅) to keep my collection reasonable.
Overall, I think it’s nicely balanced; the Seiko Dolce as my Dress watch, the Certina DS Action and Hamilton Khaki Field as my sports watches, and the Casio World Time AE1200 as my beater. Now IDEALLY I’d like to only have one sports watch, but I like them both too much to give one up.
I’d like to enjoy these watches for a while before switching it up again. However, I’ve already got my eye on the Citizen Fujitsubo Titanium to potentially replace my Certina…

Collector Description:
Did some Black Friday shopping for new straps to spice up the collection. Put a taupe Epsom on the Lorier Zephyr, a dark alligator on the vintage chronograph, a Pueblo row stitch on the Laco Pro, and a blue nubuck on the Orient. I really love the Lorier and the new strap makes it feel brand new!
Aristo Triple Calendar Chronograph - I found it in one of my parents drawers the other day! The brand is Aristo and it’s a German company. Appears to be a modified Valjeaux movement and was made sometime in the 1960s. I need to take it to a local shop to see if it can be cleaned / serviced.

Collector Description:
I’ve been fortunate to add a few notable pieces to my collection recently and thought I would share for the Lange, Moser, and Speedy fans out there.
Omega Speedster Moonphase in white gold - This was produced in small numbers (< 500 total) starting in 1999 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Apollo 11, though there is no mention of Apollo 11 on the watch. Gorgeous dial, I’m a huge fan of all the silver/white dial Speedy variants, and the gold case has a nice weight to it. Thrilled to add this to the Speedmaster collection.
H. Moser Pioneer in arctic blue - A new, smaller Pioneer (40mm) released this year. The arctic blue fume sunburst dial is gorgeous, not fully captured in photos, but it really pops in any light. The watch is a brilliant sports watch with screw-down crown, 100m water resistance, and very comfortable rubber strap. True GADA option.
A. Lange 1815 up/down in white gold - One of my favorite Lange designs, just so clean and balanced on the dial. An unbelievable pleasure to wear. Hard not to stare at all the time. The blued hands are perfect and the silver dial has noticeable warmth to it. I’m always a bit cautious with watches under 40mm as they can seem small to me (this is 39mm), but the design and weight of this make it a spot on. [Tax paid]
H. Moser Endeavour Genesis - another GADA option, or not! Definitely an art piece but a beautiful collectible at that, released this year in a limited edition of 50 as the first installment in an envisioned triptych exploring the intersection of high horology and modern tech. Even if it’s not the most practical for daily wear, it’s beautifully executed and unique. I mean, who else 3D prints titanium? Also Moser does not disappoint on movement and finish. [Tax included]

The inclusion of prestigious brands like A. Lange & Söhne and H. Moser & Cie adds significant value and exclusivity. ### Ideas for Improvement 1. **Add a Sport/Active Watch**: Introduce a sport-oriented watch to enhance versatility. Consider the **Omega Seamaster Diver 300M** for its robust build and water resistance, priced around $6,000. 2. **Incorporate a Travel Watch**: A GMT or world-time watch would add functionality for frequent travelers. The **Rolex GMT-Master II** offers dual-time functionality and is priced within the collection's range. 3. **Expand Casual/Everyday Options**: A versatile everyday watch like the **Tudor Black Bay 58** would complement the collection's formal pieces, offering durability and style at approximately $4,000. ### Downsizing Advice Consider removing the **H. Moser & Cie Pioneer Centre Seconds** if downsizing is necessary. While it is a high-quality piece, it overlaps with the Endeavour in terms of brand and style, and its removal would have minimal impact on the collection's overall rating. ## Watch by Watch Summary 1. **A. Collector Description:
I have a lot of watches in my collection but my current favorite 4 are my newly acquired Longines HydroConquest GMT, Rolex DateJust, Tudor BlackBay Chronograph and Omega Speedmaster.
These four currently fit the bill for me and I’m having a lot of fun rotating them during the week.
They all bring something different to the table and I thoroughly enjoy how similar but also how uniquely different each watch is.
I’m currently looking into adding a Cwc to the collection which may change my rotation so we shall see how that plays out.

The standout pieces include the Louis Erard Excellence Régulateur Malachite LE-99, known for its unique malachite dial and limited edition status, and the Oris Aquis GMT Date, which combines robust functionality with a sleek design. These watches contribute significantly to the collection's identity by adding elements of exclusivity and technical prowess. The collection is well-suited for a collector who appreciates both the aesthetic and functional aspects of watches, with a penchant for limited editions and unique designs. The presence of watches like the MeisterSinger Perigraph Edition Planet Earth LE-500 and the Frederique Constant Highlife Skeleton LE-888 highlights the collection's focus on limited production and intricate design. The inclusion of the Casio G-Shock Full Metal 2100 Series and the Citizen Tsuyosa Automatic adds a touch of practicality and everyday wearability, making the collection appealing to a wide range of watch enthusiasts. Overall, the "Eclectic Elegance" collection is a testament to the collector's appreciation for both classic and contemporary watchmaking, with a strong emphasis on diversity and style. ## Overall Collection Rating: 7.4/10.0 - **Versatility Metric (8.5/10.0)** - The collection covers a broad range of use cases, from formal to casual and sport, with watches like the Tag Heuer Aquaracer GMT Calibre 7 and the Seiko Presage Cocktail Time STAR BAR LE-5000. - **Material Metric (8.2/10.0)** - Strong material quality is evident, with a mix of stainless steel, malachite, and skeletonized designs, though more rare materials could enhance the score. - **Functions Metric (8.0/10.0)** - Features like GMT functionality, skeleton displays, and robust water resistance in models like the Oris Aquis GMT Date contribute positively. - **Complications Metric (7.8/10.0)** - The collection includes a variety of complications, such as GMT and skeletonized movements, though more advanced complications could elevate the score. - **Dials & Design Metric (7.5/10.0)** - The collection showcases a range of dial designs, from the malachite of the Louis Erard to the skeletonized Frederique Constant, though some designs are more conventional. - **Movement Metric (7.3/10.0)** - A mix of automatic and quartz movements provides diversity, with notable calibers like the Powermatic 80 in the Tissot PRX. - **Rarity Metric (7.0/10.0)** - Limited editions like the MeisterSinger Perigraph and the Seiko Presage add exclusivity, though some models are more widely available. - **History & Innovation Metric (6.8/10.0)** - While the collection includes innovative pieces, it lacks historical icons that significantly impacted watchmaking. - **Brand Metric (6.5/10.0)** - The collection features a mix of well-regarded brands, though none are at the pinnacle of haute horology. - **Cohesiveness Metric (6.0/10.0)** - The collection's eclectic nature reduces overall harmony, though it showcases a deliberate variety. ## Collection Strengths, Ideas for Improvement, Downsizing Advice ### Collection Strengths The collection's key strengths lie in its versatility and material variety, offering a wide range of styles and functions. The inclusion of limited editions and unique designs adds a layer of exclusivity and appeal. ### Ideas for Improvement 1. **Increase Historical Significance**: Adding a watch with a strong historical background, such as an Omega Speedmaster, would enhance the collection's historical and innovative appeal. 2. **Enhance Material Rarity**: Incorporating a watch with rare materials, like a titanium or ceramic model, could elevate the material metric. The Rado Captain Cook Ceramic is a suitable option. 3. **Expand Complications**: Introducing a watch with advanced complications, such as a perpetual calendar or moonphase, would diversify the collection's complication range. The Longines Master Collection Moonphase is a fitting choice. ### Downsizing Advice Consider removing the Citizen Tsuyosa Automatic, as it overlaps with other casual watches in the collection and has a lower impact on the overall rating. Additionally, the Casio G-Shock Full Metal 2100 Series could be removed to streamline the collection's focus on more traditional watchmaking. ## Watch by Watch Summary 1. **Louis Erard Excellence Régulateur Malachite LE-99 (8.2) - Price Estimate: $3,200** - Brand (7.0), History & Innovation (7.5), Rarity (8.5), Material (8.0), Dials & Design (8.5), Movement (7.5), Complications (7.0), Functions (7.5), Versatility (8.0) - Unique malachite dial, limited edition, automatic movement. 2. **Oris Aquis GMT Date (8.0) - Price Estimate: $3,000** - Brand (7.5), History & Innovation (7.0), Rarity (7.0), Material (8.0), Dials & Design (7.5), Movement (7.5), Complications (8.0), Functions (8.5), Versatility (8.0) - Robust GMT functionality, excellent water resistance, versatile design. 3. **MeisterSinger Perigraph Edition Planet Earth LE-500 (7.8) - Price Estimate: $2,000** - Brand (6.5), History & Innovation (7.0), Rarity (8.0), Material (7.5), Dials & Design (7.5), Movement (7.0), Complications (7.5), Functions (7.0), Versatility (7.5) - Single-hand design, limited edition, unique earth-themed dial. 4. **Tag Heuer Aquaracer GMT Calibre 7 (7.7) - Price Estimate: $3,650** - Brand (7.5), History & Innovation (7.0), Rarity (7.0), Material (7.5), Dials & Design (7.0), Movement (7.5), Complications (8.0), Functions (8.0), Versatility (7.5) - Sporty GMT watch, robust build, suitable for active use. 5. **Frederique Constant Highlife Skeleton LE-888 (7.6) - Price Estimate: $2,350** - Brand (7.0), History & Innovation (6.5), Rarity (7.5), Material (7.5), Dials & Design (8.0), Movement (7.0), Complications (7.0), Functions (7.0), Versatility (7.5) - Skeletonized design, limited edition, elegant aesthetics. 6. **Farer Durham (7.5) - Price Estimate: $1,000** - Brand (6.5), History & Innovation (6.5), Rarity (7.0), Material (7.0), Dials & Design (7.0), Movement (7.0), Complications (6.5), Functions (7.0), Versatility (7.5) - Vintage-inspired design, automatic movement, versatile style. 7. **Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 35mm (7.4) - Price Estimate: $695** - Brand (7.0), History & Innovation (6.5), Rarity (6.5), Material (7.0), Dials & Design (7.0), Movement (7.5), Complications (6.5), Functions (7.0), Versatility (7.5) - Integrated bracelet design, Powermatic 80 movement, everyday wearability. 8. **Seiko Presage Cocktail Time STAR BAR LE-5000 (7.3) - Price Estimate: $650** - Brand (6.5), History & Innovation (6.5), Rarity (7.5), Material (6.5), Dials & Design (7.0), Movement (7.0), Complications (6.5), Functions (6.5), Versatility (7.0) - Elegant cocktail-inspired design, limited edition, automatic movement. 9. **Citizen Tsuyosa Automatic (7.2) - Price Estimate: $450** - Brand (6.0), History & Innovation (6.0), Rarity (6.5), Material (6.5), Dials & Design (6.5), Movement (6.5), Complications (6.0), Functions (6.5), Versatility (7.0) - Affordable automatic watch, casual style, reliable performance. 10. **Casio G-Shock Full Metal 2100 Series (7.0) - Price Estimate: $600** - Brand (6.0), History & Innovation (6.0), Rarity (6.0), Material (6.5), Dials & Design (6.0), Movement (6.0), Complications (6.0), Functions (7.5), Versatility (7.0) - Durable full-metal design, shock resistance, digital functionality.

What's missing?
Cards on the table, the pieces I already have on the list are:
Mid 80’s or early 90’s Rootbeer. I find these both disgusting and beautiful at the same time 😂
GS snowflake, probably used as much more reasonable.
Vintage GS, early 60’s.
Birth year (1993) Tudor sub.
Snoopy (obviously an unachievable expensive dream).
Birth year Explorer 1

Collector Description:
Gotta say I’m quite proud of how unique my collection is with the budget I’ve had.
I’m not so insane to type a full paragraph of every watch in here so I’ll go over some of my favorites.
Bulova Lunar Pilot: First year wedding anniversary gift from my wife it’s probably my favorite watch and gets the most wrist time. It goes with every outfit and has kept almost atomic level time for three years straight.
Orient Day Date: The Patina on this thing is amazing and I think it not being a Rolex has allowed me to wear it more as something like a Rolex would become a safe queen for me.
Snoopy Timex: Snoopy
Citizen Moonphase: Another vintage like the Orient this thing is a quartz Moonphase that has a battery life of a whopping 5 months or so and for a watch that takes about 30 minutes to set I think it stays in the box and is nice to look at.
