Collector Description:
My Autumn 3 Watch Collection
Hi guys, this is my 3 Watch Collection, which I've had for about a year now and I'm still excited about it. I don't feel like I need more, but never say never :-)
Tudor Blackbay 58
I bought the watch last year in October. We bought a house 5 years ago and due to the market situation, we were able to make some profit from the sale. So for me it was the reward for a good investment and my absolute dream watch.
2. Sinn 556i
I've always wanted the 556i since it came on the market in 2009. It has been with me for some time now and has already experienced a lot. A real Daily Rocker, who is also allowed to get a scratch without me spilling a tear. That only makes the watch more interesting for me. I also really love the simplicity.
3. Junkers Ju52 „Wellenblech“
The Junkers is the most valuable watch for me, as it was one of my wife's first gifts. In addition to several other watches I bought and sold, I would never think of it with this one. It is now about 15 years old and runs like on the first day. Simply beautiful.
Hope you like my little collection. Let me know what you think or add next.

Collector Description:
Here is my very small Seiko Solar “collection.” On the left is my new SNE585 on an upgraded bracelet from Long Island Watch (if you’re reading this, Mark, thank you), and on the right is my old SNE031 that I’ve resurrected from the dead (my dark drawer).
The solar diver is excellent. Fantastic lume, shiny sunray blue dial, perfect case size and a lovely clicky bezel. The upgraded bracelet makes the world of difference in how the watch wears. My SNE031 was a gift from my parents when I just got into watches over five years ago. It’s beat up, scratched to hell, but keeps on ticking. It was my first and only watch for years, so I’m never giving it up. I’m afraid her extended periods in dark drawers damaged her capacitor; the watch holds a charge, but I had to keep it in a windowsill for nearly two weeks in order to do so. It’s working now, but I’ll keep a close eye on it.
What’s funny about Seiko is that, for me at least, I’ll keep saying, “I won’t buy another Seiko, their value isn’t what it used to be!” Yet 75% of my collection is Seiko, and the other 25% have Seiko movements in them.
Solar quartz watches very convenient, very accurate and worry-free due to the decade-long battery life. Thinking of a hi-beat auto to get…maybe the Atticus Pytheas? Perhaps.
Thanks for letting me share!

Collector Description:
Over the years, I’ve gradually started losing interest in collecting watches. I was 18 when I purchased my first Rolex. It was a used Explorer, and I knew absolutely nothing about watches. The excitement I received from owning the watch came from flexing. Before then, I never even cared about wearing a watch.
A year later, I came across this subreddit and found another reason to purchase watches. After exposure to all the different brands (and maturing), I slowly became more of an enthusiast and less materialistic. I started buying watches I subjectively thought looked good. But over the years, as I kept obtaining more and more watches, I received less excitement from wearing a watch.
So, I stopped wearing watches altogether for a year, and I’ve slowly started consolidating my collection by selling and gifting the watches I owned. As of today, I’m left with these four watches:
Cartier Tank (Gift from one of my exes.)
Hublot Classic Fusion (I get the hate, but I personally like how it looks and feels.)
AP ROO (My grail watch.)
Harry Potter digital watch (Gift from one of my exes. I’m a Harry Potter fan.)
I’m a sentimental person, so I’ll be keeping the Tank and the HP watch. The Hublot is my everyday watch at the moment, but I’m looking to replace it with a Ressence. As for the AP, I’m contemplating trading it for a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. I think if I were to add a fifth watch to the collection, it’d be another dress watch: A. Lange & Söhne or Breguet.

Few years in to the never-ending journey here. Don’t really want to go much higher than 10-12 watches total, so sort of trying to be conscientious about what I purchase as I go along. I have a couple of g shocks not pictured here that sometimes snag some wrist time. Thinking about trimming one or two here.. monster doesnt get much wrist time and as much as I love the Zenith- I go back and forth on the 42mm case size. Wearable for me without issue on my 7.5in wrist but I find myself gravitating more towards smaller cases lately.
