Description:
My ultimate three watch collection
Two years since my last one of these, and a lot has changed. Finally at a place I am happy with collection wise, and now will wait a few years until my next accomplishment to dip back into the collecting game.

Omega Speedmaster 3520.53- My birth year watch, and the most complicated watch I have by far. Has every complication I want, beautiful colors, and with the Valjoux 7751 based movement will tick on forever. Never ever getting rid of this.

Grand Seiko SBGE271- A gift from my lovely partner, and an amazing watch all around. I love that you can’t really see the dial properly for what it is unless the sunlight hits it just right. It has a black/anthracite version of the Shunbun dial, and the golden GMT accents are great. Made to commemorate autumn nights, which is my favorite time of the year. She blow my mind with this gift.

Tudor Pelagos LHD- my newest addition and the one I have been wearing the most. The ultimate tool watch, and I feel like I’m an adventurer with it on. Only been on one dive so far with it, but as soon as I get some proper leave from work it plan on really testing it out. This watch inspires me to keep myself close to the ocean where I belong.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/comments/16kjyew/sotc_my_ultimate_three_watch_collection/?share_id=N8FvQcH77IGQaRETKPPNu&utm_content=1&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_source=share&utm_term=1

Description:
I've gotten to a point where all my conceivable needs are covered and I'm not really thinking about buying anything else. What is my collection missing? I'd like to add something green, maybe a DJ... but not really too keen on anything in particular at the moment. My style thus far tends to functionality and is maybe a bit orthodox, so something a little weird could be interesting.

Most recent is the Pelagos FXD M.N. - a great weekend tool watch for swimming, hikes, diving, adventures... it will get banged up, and that's fine. I was between this and a seamaster in green and ultimately glad I made this choice, I really like the easy strap changes and light titanium construction. 200m is absolutely more than enough for any recreational diver so anything else is overkill.

Speedy - I work in a business casual environment most days, and it's perfect. Very comfortable and chrono is useful. First truly nice watch I bought and I absolutely love it. It's the hesalite version, but I put a spiralwinder sapphire caseback on to see the 3861. I had been planning to get a leather strap for it but the bracelet on this generation is ridiculously comfortable so there it has stayed.

JLC Geographic - Picked this up to mark a career change. I'm now in a position that has me moving around to different countries frequently, so this complication is ideal. I can track home time or other time zones extremely easily; great legibility and incredibly useful watch. Plus it's gorgeous. Works great with a suit or business casual.

Omega Seamaster 600 ~1963 - I got this for college graduation. It's tiny, so I use it as a dress watch for black tie events. It's not in the best condition but I love the wear and tear and patina. Keeps fantastic time as well.

Seiko SKX007 - This was my weekend beater until I got the Pelagos. It served me well for many years but probably won't get much wrist time at this point. Probably for sale.

Hamilton Khaki King - my first nice watch. At this point, it's for wearing in places where theft is a risk.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/s/z9uFefw1ZD

Description:
They all have their stories too: MoonSwatch - bought this year for the fun. Skipper - I work at sea so appropriate and love the new design and colours, the Carrera line is doing well this year. Bought it about a month ago. Sub - I bought it about 11 years ago, it’s my baby, just had its first service, wear it practically daily, always loved it. Nomos Ahoi - Bought it in 2015, love dive watches and it’s a dressier diver. It’s been through all sorts worn mostly for work and it’s awesome. Hypebeast x Bamford - Bought last week after a couple of drinks and it was released that day, not sure about the quality now I’ve got it, could probably have spent the money better elsewhere. Mondaine - Gotta love the Swiss railways. Had it probably 10 years. G-Shock - Got given it by my GF many years ago, never needs a battery and insanely accurate. Ed Sheeran G-Shock - I live near him, thought it appropriate in case we become best buds.

https://www.reddit.com/r/PrideAndPinion/comments/18jsdqq/my_current_collection/?share_id=xqx_k5WCYx6H58kCw6Qh-&utm_content=1&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_source=share&utm_term=1

Description:
8 years in. A little bit of everything.

From left to right, starting on top row and then to bottom: Maurice Lacroix Phase De Lune Les Classiques - acquired in ~2018. I liked this watch as a broke college student and tracked it down some years later. love this one, but cannot find the right strap to go with it.

Omega Speed Master Sapphire Sandwich- not too much to say. Classic.

Zenith Chronomaster Original - bought to celebrate first child. One of my favorites.

1960s Wakmann Triple Date - newest acquisition. Val72C movement. What’s not to love.

Tag Heuer Carrera 1887 - wedding present from my wife. Been getting more wrist time on leather than the bracelet.

Oris Big Crown Pointer Date - first nice watch I ever bought myself. Description:
My Core Four:

I was an Apple Watch guy until 2020, when I noticed an Longines DolceVita on a friend. I have owned as many as 8/9 watches including Orient, Christopher Ward, etc but these four are all I need - for now…

Tudor Black Bay 58 39mm - Bought this during my honeymoon and honestly, if I could only have 1 watch, it may be the BB58. The fit, looks, durability just work on in almost any occasion.

Zenith Chronomaster Original 38mm (El Primero) - This had been my grail since I dove into this hobby years ago , but needed a milestone big enough to justify this purchase. This was a gift to myself for becoming a father. This is the perfect sized Chrono for me and the tri color dial is perfect - I will say the lume is not great, and it is not the most legible.

Longines Spirit 37mm - This was my first big watch purchase after getting a big promotion at work. Also wore this on my wedding day. Currently my daily driver, and will always be in my collection.

Hamilton Boulton Quartz Large - Gifted this by my wife after a BJJ belt promotion. This is a killer watch, but in all honesty, it does not get a ton of wrist time, and I tend to gravitate more to the longines/zenith in business casual situations. This will always be in my collection, but the JLC reverso duoface may take its place in the rotation down the road due to it being 2 dress watches + GMT. If you were to swap out the Hamilton, what would you choose to round out this collection?
