My most recent addition was the Murph in 38, and I’ve been really enjoying it so far - I wanted a black dial watch (and I love Interstellar), so this reference just made sense to me. Description: <p>Earlier this year I had a larger collection of mainly Seiko. I’ve collecting for just over 3 years and mostly what you would consider to be affordable watches. That all changed when I bought my first Swiss watch last year which was the Omega Speedmaster date Ref. 3513.50. I got the urge to sell off my more affordable watches and pick up my ideal 3 watch collection. The Sinn 556 was a watch I was eyeing for years but I always felt it was a little over priced. Once I got one of my own, I immediately understood why it’s so loved. It’s the perfect GADA watch. The Tudor is a grail watch. I had a goal to get myself a black bay for my 30th birthday, but the timing was right on a great deal and I ended up picking up this one over a year before that. Description: <p>Here&#x27;s my current collection of black watches. I didn&#x27;t mean for this to happen and never thought about the color choices, but here we are. When I first started getting quality watches I went for more vibrant and colorful options, but found quickly that they clashed with a lot of outfits and weren&#x27;t great for most everyday occasions. In my opinion and experience, black watches go with everything, all the time. Although this isn&#x27;t everything I have, it would make a great 4 watch collection covering most of the bases. Description: <p>It all started with the Carrera 02 Senna, and I fell in love with the mechanical movement, skeleton dial, and open case back. I grew up watching the Villeneuve vs Schumacher era of F1, and always wanted a Tag since those days.<br/>But it was heavy (almost 300g!) and chunky, and so in quick order the omega was added. It is the world&#x27;s best daily driver in my opinion, highly recommend.<br/>The zenith came next, and while I love the history, insane movements (yes, it has two), the clasp is bloody awful and painful. It is a love hate relationship.<br/>In between those, there&#x27;s been a bunch of Casio and moonswatchs, which keeps things fun. This weekend, I got the swatch x blancpain collaboration, and was gifted a great little field watch as well. That brings things to ten, and now I need a bigger box.<br/>I also need to figure out where to store these watch boxes as well ...<br/>I guess it is a great problem to have! Good health!<br/></p>
