Description:
I've gotten to a point where all my conceivable needs are covered and I'm not really thinking about buying anything else. What is my collection missing? I'd like to add something green, maybe a DJ... but not really too keen on anything in particular at the moment. My style thus far tends to functionality and is maybe a bit orthodox, so something a little weird could be interesting.

Most recent is the Pelagos FXD M.N. - a great weekend tool watch for swimming, hikes, diving, adventures... it will get banged up, and that's fine. I was between this and a seamaster in green and ultimately glad I made this choice, I really like the easy strap changes and light titanium construction. 200m is absolutely more than enough for any recreational diver so anything else is overkill.

Speedy - I work in a business casual environment most days, and it's perfect. Very comfortable and chrono is useful. First truly nice watch I bought and I absolutely love it. It's the hesalite version, but I put a spiralwinder sapphire caseback on to see the 3861. I had been planning to get a leather strap for it but the bracelet on this generation is ridiculously comfortable so there it has stayed.

JLC Geographic - Picked this up to mark a career change. I'm now in a position that has me moving around to different countries frequently, so this complication is ideal. I can track home time or other time zones extremely easily; great legibility and incredibly useful watch. Plus it's gorgeous. Works great with a suit or business casual.

Omega Seamaster 600 ~1963 - I got this for college graduation. It's tiny, so I use it as a dress watch for black tie events. It's not in the best condition but I love the wear and tear and patina. Keeps fantastic time as well.

Seiko SKX007 - This was my weekend beater until I got the Pelagos. It served me well for many years but probably won't get much wrist time at this point. Probably for sale.

Hamilton Khaki King - my first nice watch. At this point, it's for wearing in places where theft is a risk.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/s/z9uFefw1ZD

Description:
This is my current collection! The Tudor, anordain, GS, and Hamilton are all tied to wonderful memories or experiences. The seamaster is just a joy to wear and so versatile, and the seiko is my typical travel watch. For some time I’ve been thinking about adding a chronograph, but I’m very undecided on which one. I’m a “milestone” kind of watch guy, so I probably won’t purchase for another two years or so, but wanted to see what sorts of chronos the community has enjoyed. I have small-ish wrists at 6.6 inches, so I know this limits my options a bit. In the past I have admired many Breitlings, zenith’s, and a few Sinn’s, but am open to any suggestions!

https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/s/GhXpbziSiv

Description:
Finally completed my collection and hoping for opinions.

My watch collection is finally complete (for now) and would love to get opinions. My interest in watches started with watching restoration videos and grew fascinated with the movements and build. It took a cancer diagnosis (all cut out and sorted) to encourage me to actually invest in quality watches I love that have a meaning to me.

Oris Pro pilot x Kermit - Fell in love with this on first sight and is the watch I closely associate to my diagnosis and recovery. Was bought alongside a Seiko and a Tissot but they have both been sold/gifted.

Sinn 556a RS - Really wanted a German brand watch to remind me of my time living in Germany with the Armed Forces. Originally bought a 556i Mother of Pearl but felt it was too formal for my style. This is the watch I wear most of the time outside of work.

Boldr Field Medic 1 - My work watch. Not a medic but the functions are perfect for any combat role where BLS is a huge focus. On a NATO strap with my regimental colours.

Bremont Broadsword - A British brand with a HMAF collection. Perfect watch to remember my time within the Army.

Christopher Ward C60 Atoll 300 - I am a keen scuba diver so needed to have a diving watch. Wanted to keep it relatively affordable to be more comfortable with taking abroad.

Rolex Explorer 39mm mk.2 - My most recent addition. Rolex, to me, is the epitome of luxury watch making and history. Only justified due to an insurance pay out from my diagnosis. Currently on a Weltmann strap for a formal occasion. The most versatile Rolex in my opinion.

Thank you for taking the time to read through my collection and what they mean to me.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/s/LqBqTMy9gJ

Description:
1.) Longines Presence, my first automatic watch. Was a Christmas gift and very sentimental to me. I’ll never sell this watch as I remember wearing it everyday in college after receiving it. No matter what I was wearing that day I had that watch on my wrist even though it is a dressier watch.

2.) Sinn 104 Anthracite, my first watch purchase for myself which also has significant sentimental value. This was purchased after reading about it non stop on this subreddit.

3.) Nomos Ahoi Siren White, the watch that started it all. I believe I saw a post about a Nomos watch from this sub Reddit and that just led me down the rabbit hole. This was a watch I purchased for myself when I graduated from my undergrad and will always cherish. My favorite watch brand and watch that I own to date.

4.) Cartier Santos Dumont Black Lacquer, my latest pickup and definitely the start of a Cartier bug. This was purchased to mark a significant promotion in my career. It’s a testament to my hard work and it just looks so beautiful.

5.) Tag Heuer Aquaracer Quartz, a gift from my father which I’ll never let out of my sight. My father always wears his older version of this aquaracer (which honestly I like a lot better). This was a gift to complete the family trio of aquaracers (my brother, my father and myself).

6.) Mr Jones Ricochet, a gift from my girlfriend for our anniversary. A surprise gift that definitely impressed me. The dial is so cool and it’s the perfect casual/summer watch. I can’t wait to wear it this summer out and about.

Not pictured is an Omega Moonswatch Saturn and a Casio Forester. Both very comfortable and casual.

I’m so grateful for the position I am to receive some of these watches as gifts and also have the means to purchase them myself. Thanks for reading!

https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/s/F1xNY2do8y

Description:
I've been collecting for over 10 years and I've come to realise, after trying a plethora of watches, that I prefer simple over complicated.

I am quite happy with the state of my current collection. the 2 watches in each category are similar yet different enough to justify keeping both.

(Divers) Tudor vs Halios: Mat blue dial, classic historical design and aluminum bezel vs glossy black dial, modern design and fully lumed sapphire bezel.

(Dress) Grand Seiko vs Nomos: Cream dial, center second, a bit thicker for a more casual wear and incredible polish all around vs silver dial, small second, gold indices and blued hands and very thin.

(Sports) Sinn vs Omega: Lacquer black dial, black and white painted indices and a more toolish military look vs Sunburst blue dial, applied highly polished indices and a more refined case.

I have no problem giving wrist time to each watch during the week, which is usually a good sign!

https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/s/vTA2sm4OEB

Description:
[SOTC] I think I have a well-rounded collection with some sentimental pieces and high quality pieces.

Casio: my favorite casual watch, even more than my everyday Apple Watch. So light and if it breaks I’m only out $20. Most photos of me on vacation I have this one on (as well as a smile).

Citizen: my dad bought this in Japan in the 90s on a business trip. Dug it out of his basement and fixed it up. Still remembering him wearing it when I was a kid and thought it was so cool.

Movado: wife gave me the Calendoplan as a wedding gift the morning of our wedding. I was (and am) so proud of it. It was generous then and I am wearing it in all our wedding photos.

Longines: the Presence was my first nice watch, a “we made it” Christmas gift from my wife after we bought a home and got higher paying jobs. Symbolizes a lot to me.

Omega: my all-time favorite watch and my weekend warrior. A Christmas gift from my grandpa, I’m most proud of this watch and intend it to be an heirloom.

Cartier: my newest watch (received yesterday). Another Christmas gift from my grandfather. Has a lot of potential to be a sporty dress watch for me and I love having a square dial.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/s/PPL26XPKAo
