Description:
Just got back from a two-week long vacation to Japan and went a bit overboard with my watch purchases. I knew going into the trip that I'd be picking up at least a couple pieces but I did not expect to come home with eight new pieces!

For those enthusiasts planning a Japan trip, BIC camera is definitely appropriately praised (I had the best luck in Ginza where I found the gorgeous Orient Star duo). Kyoto's Kuoe was also a pleasant surprise. I visited initially planning to just see what it's about but was blown away by the bronze old smith and was sold with the store-only blue dial iteration. Knot got me in a similar manner with both the Salmon Dial Tonneau and Yokohama LE Square pieces being boutique only (and quite hard to find at that).

The absolute pinnacle of my visit however, was none other than the infamous Nakano Broadway which definitely lived up to the hype. I got a bit carried away here spending half a day just walking the countless used watch stores. I ended up picking up the coveted SBGP007, a Mondaine Stop2Go (super random find), and a solid gold 18K Baume & Mercier on a handmade Japanese Alligator strap.

Overall, I'm very happy with this haul. I'll likely need to sell a couple of these as, in retrospect, I purchased too many pieces early in the trip out of excitement. A few of these however are absolute keepers. The Kuoe and Knot pieces are all engraved and the GS is one I've wanted for some time now. I think I'll be taking it easy on collecting for a while!

Description:
Been collecting for 3-4 years, slowly trying to find my tastes for watches. Pretty happy with where the collection is at now, especially since a few of these were milestone purchases and everything but the CW was second-hand. Got my eyes on a couple more way down the aspirational road (Fears Brunswick, SBGM221, AnOrdain), though I’m going to pump the breaks for a while on new watches. Have never really gotten into submariner-adjacent watches, but always happy to hear recs. For reference, my wrist is 7.5”

Autodromo Group B

Oris Big Crown ProPilot

Longines Mystery Dial (mid 50’s?)

Farer Durham with salmon dial

Sinn 566rs

Zelos bronze Swordfish (the dial on this thing is bonkers)

Lorier Hyperion

Christopher Ward C3 Grand Tourer (quartz)

As for straps: the riveted pilot, denim leather, and grey saffiano are all from Strapify. Description:
SOTC Here's what I wear most.

Here's an abridged version of my collection. Lemme know what yall think. Before y'all come at me about the Moonswatch... Ik but it's fun.

This is a collection I've been building for a few years. Since I just graduated from college and I plan on getting a nice time to celebrate that milestone once I get a job. Some of my collection is controversial, but I like them a lot. I got what I could... The Bulova was a gift from my girlfriend and the Moonswatch was a Christmas gift. I know it has some controversy but I think it's a fun watch. I really enjoy the Heritor and wore it during my graduation. Conveniently it's Hokie colored. Let me know what you guys think about my collection. I hope I made the work count for the bot lol.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/s/Cb2NqRPKmv

Description:
Here’s a snapshot of my collection after getting into watches 3 years ago. I tend to favor smaller watch sizes - sub 40mm. But still have a couple of bigger (G Shock & Seiko SRPD Mod) ones as well. Got into modding a little bit just for fun. My daily wearers are the bottom row but I’ll switch it up depending on how I’m feeling day to day. Having access to different straps/bracelets is the key for me. Hope you enjoy!

https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/s/BBfRsHHsZ1
