I love to see real-life collections with a real story and experience behind them. There’s something different about having a collection of watches you’d love to own, and actually having them in reality; how many times have we lusted after a watch, finally gotten it, then realised it wasn’t quite what we were hoping for? That’s why I love reading reply's to these collection threads where people post their actual collections, rather than playing Teddy, “well if I had $1k I’d get this, $5k I’d get this, $20k I’d get this.
Anyway, got that off my chest, here’s my three. The KS has been on the chopping block on and off for a while, maybe when I find the right example of an SBGX063 I’ll move it on; yes, I’ve been loving the move back to quartz 😱

My watches with the most wrist time.
I have somewhere between 25 and 30 watches in my collection—most in the sub $500 range; but these are my most-worn watches in 2024 (so far).

AI Review Highlights:
This eclectic quartet spans a rugged microbrand field watch homage, an ultra-premium titanium digital tool watch, a classic steel luxury Datejust, and a heritage-inspired sports diver, delivering high versatility for daily wear, adventures, office duties, and tech enthusiasts but with loose cohesion across military, G-Shock toughness, formal elegance, and dive tooling; movements mix reliable automatics (Miyota 9015 ~42h, Rolex 3235 70h, Tudor MT5602 70h) with advanced solar quartz, appealing to a pragmatic collector valuing quality diversity over theme.

3 - IWC / Depancel / Tudor - 202406242236
Collector:
This is my current 3 watch rotation. Can you tell I have a thing for Chronos....The Microbrand Depancel is new, and I just love the blue and orange color, so it has that new car smell and has been dominating my 3 watch rotation. LOL The IWC has always been my favorite and always finds a place in any rotation. And the Tudor, has been growing on me, when I got it, I was so-so and was thinking I should have got the white dial chrono. Not anymore, that black has won me over and is a current favorite.
Buy what you like and pay no attention to what you think others will say. There is a style in every budget that suits everyone!

In 1969, three automatic chronographs were introduced: the Zenith El Primero, the Seiko 6139, and the Caliber 11 (produced in partnership with Heuer, Hamilton/Buren, Dubois-Depraz, and Breitling). To this day, it is disputed as to which of these aforementioned brands launched first.
