I’ve been aiming for a simple 3 watch collection since last year after i bought my first expensive watch which was the speedtimer. After that i had to buy a diver so i bought what i think is the was the skx replacement in my opinion. The SNE Solar diver. Bought the Alpinist last week because i needed something dressy and a bit of colour. It’s been a fun journey. I have spent countless hours watching and reading about watches. My Trip - Would this be considered an unbalanced collection? I think this needs a Sub or some kind of dive watch to round it out a bit—not that it’s necessary of course but it would be nice to have something for different occasions.
The Nomos used to be the daily driver but that role’s been taken over by the new Speedy. The Portugieser doesn’t get as much wrist time as I rarely wear suits nowadays.
