3 - Rolex / Casio / JLC - 202309171712

Collector:

Hello! Here is my small collection. From most to least likely to survive being dropped in the toilet we have:

G Shock GW-M5610

Rolex Sea Dweller 16600

JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon in rose gold

I like the G Shock because it’s light, accurate, solar powered, and even my 2 year old daughter cannot break it. I like the 16600 because the design is iconic, it’s the perfect size for my wrist, and it affords me the opportunity to act like a pedant when people mistake it for a submariner. I like the JLC because it allows me to look down on all the peasants wearing Rolexes. These little champs cover all my bases and I consider myself very content.

PS, does anyone know how to solve a Rubik’s cube? It’s been 6 years…

AI Review Highlights:

This three-watch collection juxtaposes the robust professionalism of a vintage Rolex deep-sea diver, the unbreakable digital toughness of a solar-powered G-Shock, and the refined poetry of a rose gold Jaeger-LeCoultre ultra-thin moonphase dress watch, offering extreme versatility across adventure, daily abuse, and formal elegance but with minimal thematic unity.

3 - Omega / Grand Seiko / Tudor - 202309171632

Collector:

My ultimate three watch collection
Two years since my last one of these, and a lot has changed. Finally at a place I am happy with collection wise, and now will wait a few years until my next accomplishment to dip back into the collecting game.

Omega Speedmaster 3520.53- My birth year watch, and the most complicated watch I have by far. Has every complication I want, beautiful colors, and with the Valjoux 7751 based movement will tick on forever. Never ever getting rid of this.

Grand Seiko SBGE271- A gift from my lovely partner, and an amazing watch all around. I love that you can’t really see the dial properly for what it is unless the sunlight hits it just right. It has a black/anthracite version of the Shunbun dial, and the golden GMT accents are great. Made to commemorate autumn nights, which is my favorite time of the year. She blow my mind with this gift.

Tudor Pelagos LHD- my newest addition and the one I have been wearing the most. The ultimate tool watch, and I feel like I’m an adventurer with it on. Only been on one dive so far with it, but as soon as I get some proper leave from work it plan on really testing it out. This watch inspires me to keep myself close to the ocean where I belong.

Cartier Santos 2961 - I was given this watch by my father after getting my Bachelor's Degree, who was given this watch for making his first successful business deal in the early 1980s

Hamilton Jazzmaster Seaview Auto - This was my first automatic watch purchased at the age of 18, and is what got me into this hobby. Still addicted 10 years later!

3 - JLC / Lemania / Tudor - 202309161741

Collector:

Jaeger-Lecoultre Reverso Classique, Lemania 2310 (circa 1960’s), Tudor Black Bay GMT. Not all my watches but the three I have with me in a new city. I appreciate the variation and getting to have a different watch I love on my wrist each day. Lemania chronos are found in many of the best Swiss watches, and I am a huge fan of this underrated maker. That might be my favorite at the moment. I believe the dial has been redone but done well, and the 2310 movement is drop-dead gorgeous and still keeps perfect time.

6 - Vacheron Constantin / Omega / Grand Seiko / Glashutte Original / Omega / Omega - 202309152311

Collector:

Here is my watch collection so far. Latest addition is the VC Overseas Dual Time. Initially I wanted the basic blue dial but something about the dual time grew on me over time and ended up preferring this. I probably wear the GS cherry blossom the most followed by the green Seamaster. The Speedmaster I am selling because I do like it but I'm almost never gonna chose it over the other stuff I have and its such a common watch I don't feel like its ever going to be hard to get.

As for the future I kind of lost the desire for buying anything else after getting the VC. The only brand that really interests me still are some GS models and more expensive ones (Lange etc) that I'd just feel stupid dropping that much cash on watch. So I think for now I'm done.

2 - Cartier / Cartier - 202309142013

If you couldn't tell, I have a thing for Cartier. I love most of their models, but I think these two are enough for a great collection. I recently received and serviced the pasha, and I love the big date with the sporty shape and size of 35mm. The Santos is my grail and daily, having it for over 2 years and I still think I'm in the honeymoon phase.

5 - Rolex / Tag Heuer / Mido / Omega / Mr Jones - 202309132342

Collector:

Hey all this is my 5 watch collection. I’ve tried to mix it up a bit so I can have something different depending on what I’m doing.

The watches from left to right are 1). Mido Oceanstar Decompression Worldtimer - With the true GMT functionality and unexpected accuracy, this has been my most bang for the buck watch performance wise.

2). Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 116200 - Purchased by my uncle in the late 90’s, which in turn I purchased from him when he was going to sell the thing. He had changed the dial from the stock one and I kinda liked what he did.

3) Contemporary non special edition Omega Railmaster - Classy and considerably better looking in person than you would expect. It seemed like less people owned the model, and that really appealed to me.

4). Tag Heuer Formula 1 CA1210-1. - Purchased in Zurich 20+ years ago. It houses a great movement with 7 hands. This watch was made before Tag was sold to LVMH

5). Mr Jones Watches Ricochet - Gaming robots in yellow gold, rose gold, and palladium. Shiny and really fun to look at.

This eclectic assortment blends timeless luxury from Rolex and Omega with accessible sports chronographs from Tag Heuer, functional dive worldtimers from Mido, and avant-garde indie flair from Mr Jones, spanning classic dress-sports hybrids to racing tools and unconventional displays, mostly powered by reliable automatics with 48-80 hour reserves alongside quartz reliability, ideal for a versatile collector prioritizing function and personality over strict thematic unity.
