2 - Breitling / Omega - 202311302036
Collector:
Recently picked up “The Style of Time” by Mara Cappeletti for my coffee table and wanted to show off my two watch collection! I purchased my first real watch (Omega Speedmaster cal. 1861) five years ago when I entered pilot training. This year I added a Breitling Navitimer B01 that I purchased to celebrate returning from a six month deployment/upgrading to Aircraft Commander. I recently upgraded to Instructor and am thinking about either getting a Big Pilot Petit Prince or getting on a waitlist for a Pepsi GMT. Let me know which you would do in the comments!

8 - Rolex / Omega / Grand Seiko / Frederique Constant / Tag Heuer / Seiko / Casio / Casio - 202311301742
Collector:
I don’t know if you can call this diverse, but I’m trying to keep it one watch per brand (except for the god-tier Casio, obviously).
From top-left to bottom-right:
Rolex - GMT Master II 116710BLNR - The OG Batman, the first bicolored ceramic bezel by Rolex, love the vibrant blue. Looking at you, pepsi.
Omega - Speedmaster Moonwatch 311.32.42.30.13.001 - Choco dial, this is what got me hooked to movements, and now a solid case back is almost a deal breaker for me.
Grand Seiko - Spring Drive SBGA433 - A China Limited Edition of 222 (actual production is rumored to be 182). Interesting dial and unique mechanism.
Frederique Constant - Slimline Manufacture Moonphase FC-705BG4S6 - A very fine watch for the price (pre-owned). 42mm is large for a dress watch, but lug is short.
Tag Heuer - Aquaracer WAY2112.BA0928 - Was my starter watch, features an awkward 20.5mm lug width (yes 20.5mm, not 20, not 21).
Seiko - Seiko 5 SNK807K2 - Was a gift from my brother.
Casio - Calculator CA53 - No explanation needed.
Casio - A159 - The legend itself.
Currently thinking to add either GO Panomaticlunar, JLC Reverso Duoface, or CW Bel Canto.

Field watches are my thing, I genuinely think a watch is a tool to tell the time and these kind of ultra legible, made for purpose pieces are all I need. What type of watch is breeding babies in your watchbox? What is your type?

Collector:
Finally happy with my collection and think it'll stay this way for a good long while until I get the call. A little chrono heavy but I love chronos and they are different enough they don't step on each other's toes in terms of wrist time. A good mix of great established brands and the better micros, and a good mix of styles.

3 - Citizen / Bulova / Tissot - 202311250324
Collector:
Only been wearing watches for a couple years now, obviously did the classic bought too many watches too quickly, but after some selling I've settled on the pictured three.
My modest (aka. lower/middle-end) three watch collection:
The Citizen BN0166-01L was the watch I bought to wear at the beach. I love the blues and greens, and really love how the colours shift at different angles. Partnered this one with a Long Island Jubilee bracelet, really love how the look of the jubilee really matches the ridges/bumps around the edge of the case.
The Bulova 98K112 I bought because of it's ties to space, and I loved the panda/snoopy look. Also love that it came with a quick release metal bracelet, so swapping to the included blue leather strap isn't a massive pain in the ass, only takes about 30 seconds. Don't hate me, but I only use the chrono features to occasionally time how long I've had the tea bag in.
The green Tissot PRX 40 I received yesterday for my birthday, love the simplicity of the watch compared to the busier faces of the other two, feel like that really rounds out the collection. Love the starburst green, and love the vintage look and feel. Also bought a brown leather band that I can quick swap like the Bulova.
They're famoust last words, but I think I'm settled for a while. Starting to think about finding a birth year watch (1994) for my 30th birthday next year to fill that fourth slot in the case.

Slowly trying to balance my collection. The JLC is an elegant art deco wedding watch. The Tag is a good sports option with some modern elegance. My first luxury watch purchase is Omega, in reference to my grandfather’s first watch in the military.

5 - Omega / Patek Philippe / Zenith / Tag Heuer / Tudor - 202311211916
Collector:
A little bit of context: I inherited the Omega Aquaterra from my grandfather; it's very special to me as it was the last watch on his wrist when he passed away (I wear it the most).
My grandfather gave me the Patek before he passed; it's a Nautilus 3700/11AJ (thin bracelet). It generally works, but the minute hand is loose for some reason - tends to go backwards when moving the watch around. We discovered the watch together when looking through some of his old items - he wore it for a while but it kept stopping (and so it needed to be sent to Switzerland - via the authorized dealer- to be repaired). However, it continually had issues. He kinda gave up on it since he had to keep sending it back (hence the Omega) - so I'll have to get it properly fixed when I have the funds in the future.
I purchased the Zenith as a bit of a left field choice after my watch got stolen (got mugged - my fault) - regretfully it was a Rolex Batman GMT Master II. The Rolex was a university graduation gift. I wanted something a bit different after the Rolex was stolen (it was stolen just before the values went insane 🙃).
The Tudor is my brother's watch (but he hardly wears it), and the Tag was my first real watch (a high school graduation gift). It's had its fair share of issues - I don't wear it much these days.

Collector:
My collection is built around my minimalist lifestyle so my watches fit my day to day. Weather it’s wearing joggers, full suit or casual, I have what I need/want.
Quality over quantity is key. Collecting isnt about what others think about your collection, but how it makes you feels when you open your case in the morning to put a watch on.
