3 - Freestyle / Timex / Marathon - 202411082001
Collector:
These three get me through most occasions. The marathon is my everyday watch, the shark is my surfing and fishing watch and the marlin my dress. Definitely looking for something with a bracelet in the 36mm-38mm range. I’m interested in maybe a diver or explorer type watch nothing too big or flashy. Not looking for anything similar to what I already got except maybe a upgrade for the marlin. I’m looking for something with a bracelet next for $1000-$1500 range would love to hear suggestions.

3 - Hublot / Rolex / JLC - 202411081841
Collector:
Rate my 3 watch ‘wearable’ collection please.
Please don’t insult the Hublot lol, it’s the most comfortable to wear and it’s titanium so it’s light too.
These are my three main ‘everyday’ wearers; I also have a number of vintage watches (Omega, Cartier’s and Rolex) but they are too delicate to wear so they live in the safe as investments.
I probably wear the Reverso and the Hublot the most as I tend to wear them to the office but the Rolex is more to wear out if I’m wearing gold jewellery.
Please be nice.

Collector:
What a sprint it's been!
I think I see what everyone means when they say that watch collecting can be an addiction; 1.5 months into this hobby and 7 watches later. That being said, most of my pieces are fairly inexpensive, my most expensive watch by far is the Trafford I picked up 2nd hand off a buddy for $500.
I wanted to try a bit of everything and I think I've done that; I've got digital, mechanical, automatic, new pieces, 2nd hand pieces, 1 vintage piece, all in a variety of styles and dial colors.
I think I'm done collecting for now, and I like to be a bit more picky moving forward. Some pieces I'm eyeing moving forward include:
Seiko Alpinist
Hamilton Khaki
And some more attainable yet aspirational pieces are:
Junghans Max Bill
Oris Big Crown Pointer Date
I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions!

Collector:
Large wrist collection; what am I missing? I used to go exclusively for 44mm watches (previously had a yellow gold Yachtmaster II - 116699, a Panerai Luminor GMT and a Deepsea) as I have large wrists but recently I’ve been picking up 40mm’s and happy with how they sit. What should I go for next? What sort of occasion watch am I missing?

My collection at 17 years old. I’ve been in the hobby for just under a year now but didn’t start buying my own until a few months ago. I’m liking my own variety so far as I discovered what styles and colors fit with me.
I’d love to discuss or answer any questions about any of them. Nobody around me shares this hobby, it can get lonely🥲

Beginning collection as a college student.
Hey guys so I’m new to collecting. I got into watches and went down the rabbit hole a little over a year ago now. To the left is a timex expedition chronograph which the battery is dead and I don’t wear anymore. It was the first watch I bought freshman year of college. In the middle is my combat sub I bought last year and this was my first I guess somewhat real watch I’ve bought. I bought it after I got into watches. To the right is my brand new Seiko x nano universe I just bought and receive the other day from someone. Great condition and I decided to throw it on a bond nato, but the bracelet is the best I’ve experienced yet and it’s by far my favorite watch in this collection.
Anyways I just wanted to share to you guys the beginning of what hopefully will be a growing and someone become a great collection and have some of my grails. I do plan on replacing the combat sub with a Baltic titanium, what do y’all think about that?

5 - CWC / Casio / Longines / Sinn / Hamilton - 202410270223
Collector:
My Field and Pilot Tool watch collection.
I've been into this stuff since around 2015 when I started wearing Gshocks. Once I started looking toward nicer watches, the Hamilton Khaki series really captivated me because I like the field watch asthetic, and those are a great value. I think field and pilot watches are easy to read, not too flashy, and fit in on most occasions. I've bought and sold a few watches over time and learned I really don't like bright colors, or the thick squared off case profiles you find on a lot of dive watches. But I do prefer a water resistance that is appropriate for swimming, which was a factor when adding the Sinn and Longines to the box. The CWC is the really the only chronograph I've come across that I like enough to own. Not very thick, very legible, and has very understated dimensions. It's an under the radar collectable watch that blends in.
Next I would love to add a black bay 54. Thanks for looking.
