This is my current collection. You can see which ones I’m currently rotating between daily. Mainly wearing Batman, Oris, and G-Shock but mix in the Spinnaker on occasion.

What should I add next? I’m thinking something vintage but not sure exactly what. Let me know what you think!

Also, the panthere is my wife’s :).

Rate my collection so far... What else should I get to round out the collection?

This is my Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet Phases de Lune. I was fortunate enough to pick up this watch during my recent stay in Japan.

As the name of the watch states it's a fifty fathoms dive watch which also contains a complete calendar along with the iconic Blancpain smiling moonphase face. This is my first luxury watch in this price range and the craftsmanship and quality has just blown me away.

Originally I was afraid of the size since it's a 43mm case diameter, but it actually sits quite nicely on my wrist especially with the comfortable and durable sailcloth strap.

I wanted to share my two watch collection with you all.

The first watch [Omega CK859]on the left is my formal attire watch that I fell in love with last year. My wife got me this watch for my birthday and what initially caught my attention was the blue hands and then the sector dial. I love this watch and has been a part of the some big milestones in my life.

I also wanted a daily which is why I got the Rolex Explorer 12470. Ive been eyeing the Explorer for the past four years and finally had an opportunity to get it this past week. Ive been wearing it the past few days and have really enjoyed it! The 36mm fits my wrist perfectly and the watch feels non-noticeable on my wrist.

I hope to be done with my collection by stopping at these two watches, but we’ll see?

6 - Sinn / Rolex / Bremont / BOLDR / Oris / Christopher Ward - 202404281646

Collector:

Finally completed my collection and hoping for opinions.

My watch collection is finally complete (for now) and would love to get opinions. My interest in watches started with watching restoration videos and grew fascinated with the movements and build. It took a cancer diagnosis (all cut out and sorted) to encourage me to actually invest in quality watches I love that have a meaning to me.

Oris Pro pilot x Kermit - Fell in love with this on first sight and is the watch I closely associate to my diagnosis and recovery. Was bought alongside a Seiko and a Tissot but they have both been sold/gifted.

Sinn 556a RS - Really wanted a German brand watch to remind me of my time living in Germany with the Armed Forces. Originally bought a 556i Mother of Pearl but felt it was too formal for my style. This is the watch I wear most of the time outside of work.

Boldr Field Medic 1 - My work watch. Not a medic but the functions are perfect for any combat role where BLS is a huge focus. On a NATO strap with my regimental colours.

Bremont Broadsword - A British brand with a HMAF collection. Perfect watch to remember my time within the Army.

Christopher Ward C60 Atoll 300 - I am a keen scuba diver so needed to have a diving watch. Wanted to keep it relatively affordable to be more comfortable with taking abroad.

Rolex Explorer 39mm mk.2 - My most recent addition. Rolex, to me, is the epitome of luxury watch making and history. Only justified due to an insurance pay out from my diagnosis. Currently on a Weltmann strap for a formal occasion. The most versatile Rolex in my opinion.

Thank you for taking the time to read through my collection and what they mean to me.

5 - Aquastar / Sinn / IWC / Rolex / Omega - 202404281627

Collector:

Four out of five are probably here forever.

The Aquastar Benthos I bought in a Paris flea market on a trip with the family. It was just so unexpected and the orange crawler was crazy cool. The back story was also interesting, who knows if true, but the orignal owners wife sold it to the shop, he was a French special forces diver. My watchmaker spent awhile on this one, it needed a fair amount of work.

The Rolex I bought once I graduated from TBS in Quantico. It has seen some amazing adventures. This one goes to my dauther, hopefully it is passed down for as long as possible.

The Sinn I just picked up for my trip next month to walk the last 100km of the Camino. Might not be a keeper beyond that but it is so typical of German engineering, no nonsense, tough as nails, tool watch.

The Omega has always been the watch I felt I had to own. For some reason I thought it was perhaps the most beautiful design of any watch I have owned. All original except for the crystal. That one I suspect I will give to my brother just so it stays in the family.

The IWC is shockingly still here. Although I can't help myself with flipping watches, I can't let this one go. The 41mm size is the only IWC chrono that was ever comfortable. And that blue dial is great in pictures but amazing in person.

That is pretty much how I roll with watches. Probably going to pick one more up, but I am holding out until I see something truly interesting. No more major brands or vintage. So may exceptional micros are coming to market I can't keep up. I would be sincerely intested in some options or general comments. Cheers fellow watch lovers.
